Someone did it!!!!

After seeing Castlevania Redone I just knew there were going to be more projects, Which means the possibilities are endless.

I have always wanted to see the first game as it was shown in the cut scenes in Super Metroid and now it looks like anything is possible!

I mean think about it, Startropics, Zelda, Castlevania II And III, The Final Fantasy Trilogy maybe one day get the FFIII Origins version we got jipped. The Lolo Games, The Mega Man Games. I don't know exactly how this process is done and I am sure it's very time consuming but this is just so awesome!! WOW!  :crazy: :crazy:

Metroid - Rogue Dawn 16 Bit  :crazy:

Hey,

I noticed you guys were talking at one point about adding FFIII to the FFI & II Rom. Having all three games in one.

I have been testing around with Rom expansion recently and was wondering, If I were able to expand the Rom big enough, Would that help you at all with the project you had mentioned of combining them together? I'm not 100% sure if the Emulators will be able to run the larger Rom but from a test I did on a game a year ago, The results were pretty good.

If your serious about trying to combine all three games, I could run some tests and see if I can get the Rom big enough to squeeze them all in.  :thumbsup:

I'd like to see a simple way to remove the Doors 1-6 in Bowser's Keep 2.

I attempted to do it once but couldn't get the game to go from the prior room to the after room, Skipping those long and boring mini games that you have to pass to get to Magi Koopa.

Sounds like a tedious process.  :banghead:

Cadence Of Agony has been on vacation for awhile now, but after a patient wait we finally are back on board.

The latest is at last NEW MUSIC for the game.
Special Thanks to RRThiel for helping us out by making new music for COA. The most recent song that we have is "Underground" for the name entry screen.

Bowser needs a boss theme. The original was simple and expected for the time but absolutely if all possible this would be so awesome.  :crazy:

The game is incredible!

So much better on the eyes and the water looks good enough to swim in.

I have a suggestion, I noticed after defeating Wario that the Mario Castle doesn't have a colorized background. The Mountains and sky. Also the credit sprites are not colorized either.

Is this something that will be done in the future or is the project complete?

I just submitted a revision.

Apparently there is a glitch that causes Crocomire to spawn incorrectly at times.
So I fixed it.

Also at the moment the only reason to beat him is for 100% completion rate.
I stuck an Energy Tank behind him.

Maybe down the road I can go through the game and put a more valuable item back there.

The only things that I was unable to fix was the event system so upon defeating him the door goes back to blue and stopping his re spawn.

But I was able to find a way around the door for the time being.

Looks like it will take about an hour or two to finish.

I put him in Upper Norfair, The Kraid Boss Theme is working fine. Increased his health a bit to give the feel of Super Metroid. :thumbsup:

While working on Metroidvania I began working on a side project that has gotten a little more in depth than I had intended. So it looks like another project underway.  :thumbsup:

Project ACH which stands for, "Another Crocomire Hack"

This will be my version of how I think the unused Crocomire would have made a good fit in the game.
I noticed the other versions lack small bugs, I will be adding the Kraid Boss Theme and a different environment of where he will be found etc.

Here is the basics,

So far I have used it on JNES, FCEUX and the version on the WII work perfectly.
Also the PSP Nester works good too.  :thumbsup:

Ballad Of Sympathy sorta fell apart.

I really haven't had much time to work on the games lately. I had to rebuild one of my gaming computers. Once that is complete I will be spending more time in the gaming world again. But for now COA and Metroidvania will be the primary goals.  :thumbsup:

This is exactly what I have been hoping for!

Every since seeing "The Legend Of Fuma" in Castlevania - Harmony Of Despair.
I have been waiting for a patch that makes the Japanese Version match.

As far as I know, Optomon has the Rom and is working on it when he has spare time.

I haven't worked on it since it was handed to Optomon because if I change anything on my end, Then it won't match on his end. So it's just a matter of waiting and looking forward to the master piece that will be completed in the end.

So until then, Metroidvania will be getting the most focus for now.  :thumbsup:

I have been messing around with the editor and it is awesome.

I do have a suggestion, Unless I missed the option. I think it would be cool to implement a start-up editor in the games. The ability to edit the New Game Stats you start with.

flies off Zebes in the hijacked Alien Pirate Ship only to look
back as she sees a wounded Ridley heading to the explosion site of
The Space Pirate Mothership....

Something like that, Just a thought so far.

YES! I saw the Samus Ship you created in Space Complex. That would be perfect.
The prologue screen in Metroidvania has Samus walking across then stopping in front of her ship as to create the illusion of beaming up.

At first I misread your post thinking you had an entire Spaceship Stage created. Then I realized you meant the Ship.  :crazy:

I had tried to import the Metroid 2 Ship at one point but had no luck as drawing is not my specialty.
