Way ahead of you.

Sinis is already creating The Accursed Seal Title. In fact there is a possibility that there may be a patch for CV2 that changes the title screen to The Accursed Seal for those that don't like Simon's Quest. But for right now, The Linear Version is the main focus.

We got new bosses, All kinds of stuff.

If I am lucky, Just maybe a song from Castlevania Quest in 8 Bit. But that is pushing my luck at the moment with COA on the horizon.

I've been bringing light back to another project that I have been packing in my head for awhile now. With Optomon's permission I am now working on a Simon's Quest/The Accursed Seal Reboot where the game play is Linear instead of RPG using "The Holy Relics" engine.

This will be like if Konami released CV2 with the same formula as CV1 with more cool add ons.

Have a look,

Working on a new boss idea. Check out the poll for ideas.

I just found out that the Japanese version of Top Gun for NES has in game music. Which makes sense because the demo had it but not the game play in the American version. So, my idea is, create a patch that makes the American version have the music in game play too.

I have one more thought just in case.

One other thing I noticed while playing this patch is that you go inside the castle and then all of a sudden your back outside way across the map.
I know this is because the Alucard Quest starts and doesn't match where the Sypha one ends.

Just wanted to note that in case anyone missed it. Still fun to play!

The latest trailer is out.

The Catacombs revealed.

The music is incorrect etc but the stage is accurate.

Google decided to be stupid when it came to double authentication and ruined the channel. Another one is being built and will have stuff added to it. I managed to achieve 1080P recording, so in a way google did me a favor. Now everything can be HD.

I'm probably going to be nearly the only one that will want this but, The SNES Version of Dracula X could use a Non Linear as well. It might be easier considering that version is not on a disc.

I guess the rest of the games are fairly linear aside from the Metroidvania games.

Also when you go for the perfect ending you never get to see the alternate stages. The water stage gets boring after awhile when you save Annette and on top of that you never get to fight the cloaked guy. I think I fought him maybe twice in my lifetime.

At first I was thinking something similar.

That some of the stages seemed out of place like going from the courtyard to the marshes. But then I realized if the stages are placed closer together it would cause the character meets to happen to close together not giving the player a lot of time with the newly met character if chosen.
Sure you can deny a character but it runs more smooth with changing as met.

I'm sure the creator will do an excellent job no matter what he chooses. I still think this patch is excellent and until now Castlevania 3 has become a game I might just play more than once in a row just to enjoy the stages that I used to shun from because it would cause me to miss other stages I like.

I hope other Castlevania's get this treatment some day, Such as Dracula X Snes and Rondo Of Blood. The more stages the better!

OMG YES!

To actually be able to play the entire game without having to go back multiple times to get the stages that are hidden etc.

If I am dreaming pinch me!

Well, You definitely have a knack for graphics because I honestly at first glance thought this was another HD Remake for Mesen.

Awesome Project!

I am looking for someone to help build a number of songs that will need to be installed into Cadence Of Agony in the future.

The music will need to be designed in Famitracker or designed directly into the Cadence Of Agony Rom itself. Which ever is easier for the designer.

The following list is a list of all the desired tracks that I am hoping to get installed into the game.

Some are complete and some are still needed.

Intro Reel - Agony (Castlevania - COA Original By Optomon) (Complete)
Name Entry Screen - Underground (Castlevania - Harmony Of Dissonance If Possible Otherwise The Famicom Disk Version From The Original Castlevania)
(Complete)
Prayer Scene - (Complete)

I had the same problem at first then found a work around.

Mesen can be picky with it's auto installation.

The fail safe way to install the game is to manually copy the unzipped folder into the HDPacks folder inside the main directory.
Then install the MMM ISP patch into the Rom and all should work perfectly.

Having Mesen automatically install the Packs seems to have bugs in it and I wouldn't trust anything that does the job for me. I'd rather manually install stuff so if it goes wrong I know I am at fault and can troubleshoot the problem versus being in the dark.

Hope this helps.

I checked in with the music guy today. The moment I get more music, It will get uploaded.

Very Nice Map!

Speaking of custom content, Here is the original soundtrack for the game.

This title certainly has gained a lot of fan dedication. I hope one day we see another masterpiece like this one some day.
Perhaps another prequel, Surrounding the story of Samus's Father? Rodney Aran? More background story revealed?

I have an idea/request.

Speaking of the Opening Scene in Super Metroid.
How about the idea of using the Mother Brain from the cut scene for the Mother Brain Battle?

I'm going to be taking a break from GBA Making and going back to the Nes Work again.

See if I can get Stage 2 in the works for Metroidvanis as I am finally getting some free time.

It's been crazy busy.

I like the new Samus, She looks more like she's running rather than skipping.

Looks more like the Super Metroid Samus and that is always good.

I just finished recording a personal soundtrack, I remastered the Zero Mission Soundtrack and enhanced the already existing sound effects to prevent the sounds from being drowned out.

The music may be GBA Music but it works very nicely.
