Gaming Discussion / Re: Games you want to love but can't
« on: September 26, 2016, 08:19:22 pm »
Any SaGa game, they would be awesome if it wasn't for the FF2-esque levelling system and it's cryptic dialogue....

I've recently finished all known versions of FF1 (the original NES version, the PSX version, the GBA version and the PSP version).
Recently, i got interest to replay the NES version, but i beaten that version at least 2 times and i want a better experience other than the remakes.
So do you know a better version of FF1 for NES, or it's only the original and the remakes?

Hey guys! I just saw that Next-Level Games released Version 1.1 of the game on Nintendo Life.
These are the details of the patch:
  • Fixed an issue that caused errors to occur when beginning Online Play in Blast Ball.
  • Added a count-down timer to the team selection screen in the Online Play mode of Blast Ball.
  • During matches in the Online Play mode of Blast Ball, players will be disconnected if they fail to make any inputs for
    a set amount of time.
  • Other adjustments have been made to make for a more pleasant gaming experience.
What do you think about the patch?, it seems that the hate of the game is cooling down.

Chaos Rush, i have a question for you:
Does the item upgrade trick is still here?, just wondering.

Wow  :o, I guess the hate from this game steadily grew since the anouncement.
Considering this game came from Next Level Games, the same studio that developed the Mario Strikers series, Punch-Out!! for the Wii, and Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.....

Metroid Prime: Federation Force just got out today and the reviewers and fans alike are divided between "Good game" and "This game sucks".
I would like to know your opinion of the game.

This retranslation looks better each day.
I wonder if Maeson will release a version of his hack for this.

I recently saw the trailer for the HD Mini-NES.
$59,99?, That's a bit expensive.
It would cost $1200 pesos here in Mexico.
Still buying it anyway.

From what i see, people seem to hate the IOS/Android/PC version....
For me the graphics aren't that bad.
As for a version of FFVI, I would recommend Ted Woolsey's Uncensored version with bugfixes.

Wow, this sounds pretty neat. I used to know that the Alex W. Jackson translation was good, until i heard of the ad0220 translation, which was WAY better than the AWJ one.
I wish you good luck with this, hopefully this will be the definitive version of FFIII NES.

Glad you're back.
Anyway, do you think you can add auto-target? It'll be so cool to see it in your hack.

I would suggest "Final Fantasy Rebirth". Sounds cool to me at least.

ROM Hacking Discussion / Re: Final Fantasy III Maeson Mix (Famicom)
« on: February 03, 2016, 06:35:31 pm »
Hey Maeson, your hack is amazing!
But i have an issue with magic expansion. You see, after i applied it, my characters began with spells that could not be obtained and used right at the beginning.
I could sell them all minus the Toad spell, since i can't literally sell it, ocupying one of my item slots, which can be problematic if you have too many items and refuse to trash them.
Still good hack, it makes the game more enjoyable  :).
Here's a pic of what i mean:
