Haven't played it (currently unable to do so) but I have seen enough streams to get the main idea. The point of the game is to wander around and slowly upgrade your character so you can reach the center. But only after wandering around even more.

Of course, this is just the hype train derailing and crashing in a terrible fire, but what I want to know is why are people not bashing the developers on unfulfilled promises (the diversity is where)? Hell, Capcom gets slammed when they do stuff like that.

How much fuckin' grinding did you do, man? I could 100% that game in 60 easy and get everything short of 100% leveling up everybody to max and mastering all materia. Hell, I could probably pull off the first disc Omnislash.
I think they were talking about the dragon quest series. But yeah, holy shit 104 hours!?!?

You talking about dialects or that odd formality thing that the language has? In any case, all are used in games, and the formality thing isn't that bad.

If you are talking about dialects then standard is the one most used. (if my definition of dialects is correct)

I just played the first 20 or so minutes. How in the hell has nobody picked this one up yet? At nearly every box of dialogue I was laughing my ass off. Someone....Please  :P

Its almost like Sega is doing all the right things in regards to fans while Nintendo just wont stop fucking up.

For me its not really a big deal what format is used. Its just a different folder on my computer.  :D

Im assuming this has already been patched?

It seems to be due to a mapper problem. 1.03 also had this. Doesn't work with nestopia either.

Works with FCEUX.

For me, I tend to worry about playing a new RPG, mostly because it will pull me away from the other 40+ hour adventures I am currently playing. Eventually I give in and start it anyway, which is why I still have not finished dragon quest 8 after 5 years.  :P

Gaming Discussion / Re: Suggestions for fun, classic MS-DOS games

And still nobody has mentioned Darklands. I am disappointed in all of you.   :P

He lost money on the party every year before that tho.
Have you ever had a party? That typically happens.

Heh, keep it up BlackDog61 and don't make a horrible issue for final patch (Like Fire Emblem Translation & Wizardry Translation). I always keep praying how this translation progress.
But... the wizardry patch that you are talking about isn't final...

Harvest Moon: Friends of the Apocalypse (Friends of Mineral town hack)
A post apocalyptic sequel to Friends of mineral town,
Takes place after the death/murder of the Harvest Goddess
Gameplay changes: combat, town building, farm defense.
I want this. Now.
I always find it interesting when a hack takes a normally happy game in a dark direction. Are there any good examples of this?

And most of those investors have already sold their shares while they were still worthy. Its value plummeted like 16%
They are releasing their reports on the 27th, I am slightly expecting it to slingshot down.

Gaming Discussion / Re: This new Sonic is something interesting.

Perhaps it is lost on you that I am a Sonic Fan. No, I don't keep up with most fandoms these days.
Are you a fan of the newer 3d games? It sounds like it, but they are just not good. I can assume that you like the 2d ones, just like everyone else, but I agree with Kaio in that Sega has really dropped the ball with the franchise. What are your thoughts on it?

It's simple, NES can't handle the running speed. You ever try using the run fast code in Super Mario Bros? NES can't handle those speeds.
Holy shit, I really hope MathUser is joking because this made me laugh way too much.

Congratulations whoever stole MathUser's account.

My brother had to run the game under a VM. He is on windows 10.

Have you updated the game? if so take that off.

I had this problem, don't remember if it was for saints row or Red dead redemption though.
