I just bought Bastion for 2.49, its pretty good.

I'm having a hard time getting the font to display right. I tried using Applocale but you didn't state what locale to run it in and it won't run it in Japanese as I have my system set to Japanese, even so the font doesn't display when ran normally. Also how do you run this in a window and I don't like games that take up my whole screen.
Font displays fine for me on both my japanese OS and non-Japanese OS running Applocale. Not sure what that could be. Are you talking about the names of custom characters?

For the windowed thing just make a shortcut, right-click "Properties" and in the target field after the exe directory (outside of the quotations) put -w

While you're at it, you may want to ask jink640 about the script. I believe he had it partially translated.
I translated the opening scene, but not much else. I actually don't know where I put that script. I had to fill in the japanese text by hand mostly, the script dump was weird and jumbled I think.

Ahahahahahahahahahaha!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH...hahaha...

...All musicians are thieves.
Aw shit, nevermind I was completely off :P

I was thinking of the Resident Evil Guy, which wasn't "stealing" per se, but rather "Lemme give someone else money and call it my own work".
In his defense, it works for 60% of today's pop stars.

Yuzo Koshiro ftw.
Didn't Koshiro "steal" a lot of the music? or was that someone else...

so lol

"for a definition of "sore loser" look up Derby County fans."

This is why I like to use wikipedia  :D

There is a line of thought that says the community for a game is the result of the game itself. In this case in most variations on the DOTA/MOBA ( ) theme would have a less than stellar player be a liability for the team then hostility and elitism is the natural result if people are playing to win.
Yeah, without a doubt MOBAs are one of the more team based games where everyone has to pull their weight. I have noticed through my time with LoL that after you get past the bottom ranks there isn't anywhere near as many people who tell the new people to "get rekt" (that actually happened to me). Ironic that the bad players are the ones giving the new guys shit.

I am okay with the current "gaming culture". To be fair, the majority of people online are considered "toxic", just go play LoL for more than 15 minutes. On the other hand there is plenty of good as well, just look at this forum for a bit

If this is about visual novels, the DS got a ton of good ones. A lot even made it to English, notably 999 and hotel dusk.

raided the gamestop 4 for 20 bin, got ff13, ff13-2, lost planet 2, and uncharted 1
Those are all pretty good deals, but I think the servers for LP 2 are down. Damn I loved that game.

I was able to snag an extra copy of Kenzan at the local shop. $5 plus tax  :P

I'm not really understanding the point of this idea. Is the idea to have a sonic&knuckles style cartridge that holds data for a patch?

nothig like the real thing with real controllers.
You could always get a SNES controller to USB adapter  ;)

But yeah, I cannot think of any business styled websites in the Americas. Best bet is to try some kind of forum and do a private deal.
I own a Powerpak and am content with the fact that the only carts I will have to buy is Mario RPG, Starfox, Doom and *I would say Yoshi's Island but that whiny fucking baby kills it for me (Fuck you Nintendo).

The whining kills Yoshi's island but the terrible controls and graphics don't kill doom

But yeah, those are the only games that are worth a crap that you cannot play on a flashcart.

All i need is someplace reliable to get the flashed ROMs, and that has experience handling Snes ones since some of them are tricky to make them work on real hardware.
"someplace reliable" and "get flashed ROMs" are somewhat contradictory. I cannot think of many ways to get them except from knowing a guy personally. Selling/buying of flashed ROMs is considered illegal. More so than putting them on an SD card.
And they are quite expensive. If you are planning to play multiple hacks of those games then you will save money by making the initial $250 investment for the SD2SNES setup, Regardless of enhancement chip support. Or you could bypass all that crap and use an emulator, but I can see that you want a tangible setup.

Ive found this video recently andi was impressed by what these boards can acomplish, multigames with save function working for 4 games on 1 cart sounds impressive.

Or you could just get an SD cart. That kinda makes this one obsolete.

I can't get this ROM to patch with this translation. I'm using the listed version.
What patching program are you using?

After I'm done with version 1 of this hack I am going to resume my hack of Rival Turf where it takes place during the 2011 Stanley Cup riots in Vancouver.

Hell yes!  :D I'm not really into beat 'em ups but I would play the hell outta that!

I think the only way to do this is by piecing the sprite together yourself. There should be a space where you can drag and drop the pieces to make them line up.

on Gameyob which emulates the GB/GBC/SGB on my R4 DS and I noticed something off.

I had a lot of problems using that on my R4 running wood. Might be due to that.

Best bet would be to contact the original creator of the patch and get his thoughts on it.
