Agreed, and it would require less work for the team too. No need to worry about subtitles.

Man, this looks fantastic! I feel like that PC Engine CD port of Mega Man from years ago could have used a graphical upgrade like this, rather than just a straight port.

Really looking forward to this one. My Dreamcast doesn't get much play time these days, but you can bet I'll be dusting it off to do a full playthrough of this one when it's finished! Nice work so far, things seem to be moving along nicely!

I think the Wii version is closer to the original game. It has useful resources like an English logo.

Yeah, it was localized on the Wii in the "Ultimate Shooting Collection". The intro seems to be untranslated, but I believe all the in-game dialogue has been translated to English. Could definitely help with the project.

This sounds like a cool project, and nice job on the mock-ups. Some of them look pretty much exact to the original screenshots that were shown in Nintendo Power. Crazy to think this game was originally meant to be a Terminator game. And it actually would have been a good one!

The border itself looks great though I question the value of putting a SGB border into a GBC-exclusive game which will only work on emulators supporting the non-existent-in-reality hardware combination.

I'm curious of this myself. Looks fantastic, but seems irrelevant...

Well that's a given, but I want to include optional patches without the changes.

This is probably the best option. Have a patch that has everything ready to do for those who want the patches in their entirety, and separate ones that will allow people to piece together the patches they prefer. I personally only want to apply patches that will adjust the game to be more like the originals (SRAM, Shooting Speed, and Movement Speed) so I welcome this approach!

Fantastic job on this hack! I love that Megaman can still inch forward like he's suppose to when tapping the D Pad, something that was no longer functional in the original hack. But would it be possible to get a separate patch with only the 3 improvements listed below to keep things more true to the original? Would be much appreciated. Thanks!

-Sram fix by motzilla
-Movement delay is fixed! Now it plays just like the nes original.
-Bullet speed is 67% faster, also just like the NES originals.

Oh, that's a good point, I don't remember if I ever did. I guess I should get round to that. Plus releasing all my Famicom Disk System translations... Thanks for the reminder!

No problem, looking forward to that title screen! I can give that a test for you on real hardware too and let you know how it turns out. Just make sure to change the region. Japanese SMS roms wont boot on an North American or European Master System.

Actually, Hokuto No Ken/Black Belt has already a french translation. I was hoping to deal with that after I finish my Hokuto No Ken/Last Battle project for Genesis.

That sounds exciting, I've always hoped someone would translate Black Belt and Last Battle back into Hokuto No Ken/FOTNS. I'm a big fan of the series!
