The Shakespearian English is a nice touch. Using DS lines when necessary is welcome too. So does this mean the lines that refer to things brought up in Cross were made more clear? Is Fiendlord's Keep referred to as Magus' castle?

Ah okay lol

Good to see it's inclusion either way

Out of curiosity, is the translation in this hack of the game different to the Woolsey translation? The one in the bugfix and uncensored patch seemed good but did leave in instances of Magus being named before the party meets the character even though they're suppose to be referred by Fiendlord before they appear.

On the topic of PS1 tracks being put in this hack, I just remembered

the first little bit of Frog's Theme on the OST is slightly extended with a section not in the actual SNES game

be nice if that section could be inserted into the game or something

Resident Evil Remake and Resident Evil 0 - Save prompt hack

These would be simple hacks for the GC versions of REmake and RE0 but with same prompts added before the disc swap screen

Turns out that two FFVI characters, Mog and Cid Del Norte Marquez have birthdays in May.

Looking forward to whenever the next version of the patch comes out.

I'd be curious to see how the GBA font would look like with the GBA script on the SNES version.

As we're never getting a Legends 3, undubs with English subtitles for Legends 1 & 2 plus Tron Bonne would be very welcome

Hopefully there will be an addendum to fix those mentions of Magus by NPCs when Fiendlord is suppose to be used, though this hack does seem to be one of the better CT hacks out there.

Oh yeah, the PS1 version had some exclusive tracks. IIRC, there's even an exclusive credits theme in the PS1 version

Illusion of Gaia retranslation for SNES:

A retranslation hack of Illusion of Gaia using the script created by L Thammy, which is uncensored and uses the original Japanese names.

Crisis Core FFVII hack idea - provide an option to remove the menu sound effect in combat

could be something as simple as adding a toggle in the options menu

I like the game, but always wanted to turn off that menu sound during combat. I can tolerate it for when I'm picking an option, but hearing it over and over again when selecting attack is a bit annoying

Is there any way to expand the text box space limits? I've played that GBA script hack a while ago, and felt that, with some adjustments to the font and space limits, the text could probably still fit fine. FFVI got a GBA Script patch and that looks pretty good. Then again, I'm no real expert in romhacking myself.

This seems an interesting idea for a hack, and more love for FFV is welcome. I wonder if it's possible to insert the script from this hack into your patch with some adjustment to the dialog formatting? The text is pretty small and the font is rather thin, so sometimes you have to squint in order to read it. GBA script with a bigger text and a more legible font + gameplay improvements would make for a nice way to play FFV, both for longtime fans and newcomers.

The only thing missing from the "MegaMan x4 (Undub+retranslation)" is the message after the credits for X and Zero and the name of the Japanese voice actors and the name of the Japanese songs by Yukie nakawa.

It'd be nice to see increase sub size for cutscenes too, as there's plenty of black bar space that could be used.

A 60hz patch for the PAL version of Legend of Legaia would be nice to see, since the PAL release has the Japanese version's difficulty and stat balancing. The US version has different balancing, and is made harder.

It's be cool to see a hack of US version of Silent Hill 1 with the Missing Newspaper document which was only in the PAL and Japanese releases put back into the version, as that's important for Alessa's backstory, and it being left out of the US version is pretty odd.

On that note, I wonder if it's possible to do a hack that can remove / turn off the high pitched typewriter sound in text boxes? Could be useful for certain groups of people

One of Quistis' Blue Magic spells in FFVIII has some intense flashing

What emulator were you using that caused this bug?
