very interesting project, ps5 will be forgotten, but the Nes 8 bit will never die ;D

It was already finished a very long time ago:

There is a Famicom platformer which I'd really love to see translated to English: 'Utsurun Desu.: Kawauso Hawaii e Iku!!!'.

A Russian language patch exists, which to be honest, might ease the translation process because of text size and alignment.

I thought someone already did a full translation. If not that same person you're thinking of, then someone else.

After a double check, yes, you're right... Hopefully it'll sync with the playthrough I did with the original Japanese ROM.

Honestly I'd like to see English translations of these three Famicom games:

* Labyrinth: Maou no Meikyuu — that rare game featuring David Bowie, who appeared in the 1986 film of the same name as well. I even did a longplay of it, which is available on WoL site. Yes, I know there was an attempt of a translation, but it was never finished and only translated the first dialogue in the game.

* Utsurun Desu — a simple platformer including some cutscenes in Japanese. A Russian translation patch exists.

* Cocona World — some rare game for the FDS where a witch girl must survive for around six days before becoming a beautiful princess, similar to Konami's Survival Kids in my opinion.

Which language might that be? I've been helping Ice Man to translate the game into German, though I need to get back to him about that - the whole situation we have right now has taken my mind away from it. I should get it done, actually.
I'm planning on making a Spanish translation of the game as well, which is my native language since I'm Latin American. Is the text coded in hex or in CHR?

If you've played Soul Blazer and/or Illusion of Gaia before, you might find familiar elements in this game. To be honest is quite straightforward, I even managed to complete most of it without a walkthrough when I played it for the first time. However, I also think this is one of those games that might not be fitting to everyone.

I only got lost once though, at the Loire part. Luckily, figured out the expansion thing after several test cases (which required me to use around 4-5 state slots). Last time I re-beat the game was almost 3 years ago (back then I already memorized the correct paths), still have the save before the last bossfight + Ark at level 40 with the best equipment.

One sidenote, I recommend playing Legacy of Kain, but not on PS1. If you plan on playing that game, play on Redream (Dreamcast) emulator instead.
I agree with this. Visuals on DC version are much better, and yes on Redream it's pretty playable. Constant 60fps even on my Lenovo tablet which has a modest Snapdragon 625 and 2GB of RAM.

Ok, I applied the english translation to this game, or most of it at least. The waixing logo and translations for the maps you find are still not copied over. But at least the game can be played in english as well.
Is that translation based on the one Pacnsacdave did? Even though it was cool, it wasn't perfect to be honest, since the font might seem to be very small for some people.

It'd be cool if you could translate the HUD elements as well: 'Energy' and 'Pwrup' respectively. ;)

I really love your work, your Aighina no Yogen translation motivated me to do a longplay of it (which is available at World of Longplays site).

I'd like to suggest an improvement to NES game Rush'n Attack, regarding its difficulty. In Japan, a mobile port of it for i-mode/Yahoo/EZWeb feature phones included a health bar for those who find it very difficult to complete (source:, btw their mobile service ended in 2015 or so) and it has brought the idea of implementing such thing onto the original NES version.
