It's a pretty great feeling. I wouldn't necessarily say that it feels as though I've hit the big time, but it does feel really nice to basically have Phantasy Star II Improvement be validated as an official Sega mod.
What the fuck does NEC have to do with their Steam genesis games?????????????????????????????
I would find your argument more compelling if game companies were crowd sourcing their level designs and art design from customers and then turning around and repackaging them for sale with no compensation to those users.
To be honest with you
1. I don't like that my hobby breaks the law. It's a dumb law.
2. I'm glad one of the companies is realizing this and is turning this into a benefit for both of them. If I had the capability to hack(tl;dr ADHD is a bitch), I'd be putting my hacks up there if any of them were on Sega games.
I do not understand why you're so offended by this idea of people not wanting to break the law. yes, a lot of laws are at best fucking stupid, but when we have the chance to turn one of the dumb laws to our side, you get all huffy about it? Honestly, you seem more like you just want to disagree...
I cannot tell whether or not Zonk is being serious half the time. I really hope he is joking this time though
have you considered that maybe a lot of people have been wanting to make their hobby legal for a long time and don't actually like breaking the law
Cool. I'll send you a message after I finish with finals.
And the update for the genesis emulator on steam is out. It seems like you will be modding games through the same way many of you have been modding. And as of now, there are no mods. Who will win the race to first??
A few? Try about 20, give or take. Aisle Lord, Daihoushinden, Funky Horror Band, Shadowrun...plenty of potentially worthwhile stuff without even getting into multiplatform games and strategy or adventure hybrids.
