Not to be that guy, but there's totally a "Great Battle VI" for the PS1 too. So not quite as comprehensive as advertised.

Thank you for this, this is amazing, I'll finally be able to experience this "lost" chapter of the Suikoden world for myself.

Sweet! Can't wait to play them!

So which is better? This or the DD translation?

Tokimeki Memorial
Give me a couple more years, dang it!
Actually, I was referencing Necrosaro over at good old J2E and his attempt at translating in early this decade... I remember him saying something to the effect of "if it so takes me 10 years I WILL translate this game"... Coming up on 10 years pretty soon now ehh? You're on the other hand is just a year or two in, that's like nothing in comparison. :)

I never thought I'd see the day... The age of miracles is not yet over... Does this mean that Arabian Nights or Tokimeki Memorial is just round the corner?

Are you planning to recycle any old sprites from past Castlevania games except the Maria sprite and artwork? I'm mostly thinking about iconic enemies like Medusa Head or Death, although there are other enemies that could be worth adding. Personally I have trouble imagining a Castlevania game without those two, even though a part of me wishes that there will be no Medusa Heads in there...

Seeing as the RPG genres is slowly but surely dying (or atleast morphing into something not so great) I'm sure I'll get around to all these games eventually. ;)

How many of these are left? Like the third or fourth translated that I can think of.
GameFAQs says there are 8 in total... But I've actually never seen the 4 remaining in ROM form so I don't now.

Ahahahaha! It's crazy but I love it. Unconventional hacks like this is something I very much enjoy. Good luck with this, hope it works out well.
Next, how about porting Sonic or Phantasy Star to the SNES and take advantage of its vastly superior audio? Not a request really, I'm just saying, could be fun! :D

Indeed. You do get a teeny bit dizzy looking at it, the brain is sorta acting like it thinks it does something wrong and tries to correct it while clearly not being able to... But in an entertaining way kinda, if that makes any sense. So I'd say go with that.

Random thought... But is there a "King Kong 1"? :D

In Project 64 works very well without any modifications. Great!
Am I they only one that can't get it to run at all?
Maybe (probably) I'm just stupid...

I don't know if you're stupid, but you obviously can't read. Why do you think I mentioned you should read the readme.txt, hmm?

In any case, your answer is in there...
I actually did do that... And it still didn't work... So I'm just assuming that I somehow managed to not understand what the readme file said. So yeah...

I haven't even managed to get out of Crateria after getting the missiles. Yeah, I know I suck but it really shouldn't be this dead endy this early.

W...O...W...! *gulp* That's one massive update! So many pretties.
Especially major "yay!" points for Mystic Ark. I don't know why but I've always had this weird fascination with that game ever since I saw the first screenshots of it back in 1995. I mean, I don't even like 7th Saga all that much yet still...
Not sure what was the problem with the initial Actraiser translation (despite being a bit sparce) but if Gideon Zhi says it should be retranslated, then I'll be eagerly anticipating it.
