Thanks, but I've been modding my own ROM, and I'm trying to get the character class names implemented into it

I've typed up the data in some free space in the ROM for the class names, I just need to get it to appear in the game, but I don't know which codes to edit in order to make them appear

Okay thanks for telling me, I didn't know about these programs, I'm new to editing roms and stuff like that so bear with me if I ask questions that I shouldn't

I've tried that patch, but it only changes the Cafe sign in Zozo and doesn't change the rest of them

Oh right haha, I have no idea about hex editing, so I guess I'll leave that patch out

I just need one more patch now that changes the "Cafe" signs to "Pub" signs, like they were in the Japanese version, any idea where I can find that?

Oh right, it seems quite complicated and its not really worth it just for character class names haha, I thought there might be some editing tool that just lets you edit the menu and stuff like that
Thanks for the help anyway

Thank you assassin, the uncensored graphics patch works fine, the B button dash works as well, but when I dash either down or right, the character dashes but the sprite is not running, they're just standing still, it works fine when I dash either up or left, it's only right or down
Any tips on how to fix this?

Any idea how I can do that? (I'm not very advanced with coding and stuff like that)

Also I'd like to ask; How do I add character class names to the menu screen?

Yeah I just want an IPS for that only, ah well.. looks like I am out of luck

I'd also like to have a IPS for the "B Button Dashing" feature, but I don't think there's one for that either

I've checked, but there's no patch that only restores the uncensored graphics, I need a IPS patch so I can apply it to a rom that's already edited

Could anyone send me a download link to a IPS patch for Final Fantasy III (U) SNES, which restores the uncensored graphics from the Japanese version?

Hey guys, thanks for the replies, but I actually managed to sort the problem out myself, it was the blank space before the item name, I noticed that I was inserting the wrong blank space icon before the item name and the game couldn't arrange the items properly (items disappearing)

There's quite a few blank spaces available to edit the item name with on FF3usME, so its easy to insert the wrong one when editing items because they all look the same, but its actually the last one which the correct one (this may sound confusing but you'll know if you use FF3usME)

After I change an item name with FF3usME, when I play the game and use the "Arrange" option in the item menu, the items that I've edited just disappear.

Is there any way to change the name of the items and not have this issue?
