News Submissions / Re: ROM Hacks: New Hacks Added to the Database
« on: May 05, 2016, 10:53:30 am »
There've got to be over 100 bugfixes for Final Fantasy VI at this point.

Gracious gravy that's a lot of bugs.
Wouldn't make more sense to make a great big bugfix hack, rather than submit hundreds of individual patches?

Honestly, it's clogging up the FFVI hack section.

News Submissions / Re: Site: Recent Malware Warnings

It's worth noting that it's not just translations getting flagged; trying to download this document causes Firefox to say RHDN is a untrustworthy domain.

That makes me wonder; why is RHDN marked as a malware site in the first place?

Has anyone played the PAL vesions of Mega Man 1&2? If so you may notice that the game and it's music seems to run slower than it does on the NTSC versions...
I would like to see a hack that corrects the timings of the PAL versions to bring them up to the speed of the NTSC versions.
Hi, I'd like to suggest some things regarding Mega Man: The Wily Wars for the Sega Genesis, specifically regarding a few errors compared to the original NES games.
You might also want to consider re-drawing Proto Man, as he looks way to short next to the Wily Wars version of Mega Man.

ROM Hacking Discussion / Re: MegaFLE X gets a runtime error?
« on: May 27, 2014, 04:21:08 am »
The ROM must be either in the program folder or on the same drive. You can't open a file with the program being on C: and the file on an USB stick, or reverse.
Thanks, I should have known that keeping my stuff on a portable hard drive would cause problems at one point...

And now to hack MM4! (Because why not?  :) )

ROM Hacking Discussion / [SOLVED] MegaFLE X gets a runtime error?
« on: May 26, 2014, 12:39:52 pm »
To put it simply, the program loads fine, but after I choose the ROM I get this:
Run-time error '9':
Subscript out of range
Any help would be great.  :)

Newcomer's Board / Version odities with Pokemon Fire Red
« on: December 29, 2013, 11:24:18 am »
As you may know, there are 2 versions of Pokemon fire red, with V.1.1 having some bugfixes. (See here)
I've wanted to use version 1.1 in a hack, but advance text, Overworld editor RE and PET won't work correctly with version 1.1.
How can I get around this? Is there, say, a patch that adds the bug fixes off 1.1 into 1.0 or something like that?

I don't mean to be rude but it's been a couple of days and no-one has replied. All I'm asking for is some help...
