TCC does indeed have a website but it only just came up. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. RHDN hates approving my actual hack.

The Chippy Cooperation is a ROM Hacking (And other things too) Company. Here's a link to the actual site (very unfinished) -

Oh and answering to how good the hack is...

It isn't the best hack. The new sprites are pretty bad. But the Safari Zone and other things are as good as I can make them be. But it is fun to play - graphics aren't everything, you know!

ROM Hacking Discussion / Re: Pokemon Rom-Hack Sprite Question
« on: July 26, 2014, 09:22:46 am »
I run a ROM Hacking (And other things) Company if you need publicity  -
https://www.facebook.com/TheChippyCooperation

I believe it is possible, but I THINK it has a limit of 16 colors on GBA. You may need to edit colors a little bit if it exceeds the limit of colors. It's like Pokemon Gold only having 3 or 4 colors.

Don't Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow and Green change palette when on the GBA?

I'm still working on Pokemon Gold Beta/Alpha REVIVAL, and I want to know how to add entirely new Pokemon - not replace - fully independent. I tried looking for a tool but the closest I get to new Pokemon is replacing a Pokemon's sprite and name. I don't necessarily want that.

The reason is because I want to add MISSINGNO. for the purposes of a beta gym, and because of no reliable info on type, make a new BIRD team for the Gym Leader. But I can't replace a Pokemon because no Pokemon learns 2 Water Guns, Pound and Sky Attack like MISSINGNO. does.

If it requires replacing a Pokemon's data but replacing what it learns and all that it's fine I can just replace a Glitch Pokemon (With a Glitch Pokemon XD)

If someone can give me some pointers on how to add new Pokemon into Pokemon Gold, and if possible how to add MISSINGNO. that'd be great. If it requires ASM can someone send me a link to get it?

Thanks for reading. I hope you can assist me!

If you want a link to the ROM Hack here's a link to the Facebook Page -

News Submissions / Re: ROM Hacks: Super Mario Kart 8 V1.1 Released!
« on: June 22, 2014, 01:42:45 pm »
I was looking at the bugs you have. The ones involving the Thwumps just needs them moving around and it should work fine... ;)

Have a cookie  :cookie: this is a ROM hack to be proud of. I, the COO of The Chippy Cooperation (ROM Hacking, Vocaloid and Desktop Wallpaper Company), supports you in your quest to demake Mario Kart 8!

Well, it's a free company. Not paying or anything at all. Just there.

My role is the big boss and Pokemon Hacker. I revive betas and alphas of games, currently considering Luigi's Mansion Beta/Alpha REVIVAL right now.

We are already doing Gold. Look on the page yourself if you wanna see proof.

I was thinking about these at one time...I wonder if it is actually possible to wipe out all that data, and make a new mechanism for a new G&W game  :o

I actually own Game and Watch Zelda in my game console collection. Still a fun mini game to play when you're bored.

Well, I'm after some Staff Members for The Chippy Cooperation. It's a ROM Hacking company that is looking for any type of hacker - from beginner to pro, translator to full scale editing.

Name Origin - Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story 'Chippy' + The Tomorrow Cooperation

We need -
*Beta Testers. MUST be devoted. MUST report once a week. Need 10. Since many will leave, I'm SURE OF IT.

*Bug Fixers. We have none currently and would prefer 2.

*Developers. I don't mind how many. Since this is basically like a hub for releasing games under the entire cooperation's name.

*Alpha Testers. Dangerous job. You may corrupt the game at this stage. Usually done by higher testers. You will get games before release though!

*Top developers. Expert ROM hackers who can take the lead on either abandoned works, adding stuff into the finished ROMs or taking the lead on updates.

*People who hack GAMES THAT ARE NOT POKEMON. We have one folk but she left. If anyone can hack games that are not Pokemon go nuts XD

(Copy-Pasted from the Facebook Page)

The official page (AKA where you will always find me) is here -
https://www.facebook.com/TheChippyCooperation

Currently we only have Pokemon games and would love to see other games released under our name.

Benefits? There are benefits.
*Members of Staff may get games that are in early stages to test as long as they ask the top developer.
*More publicity and sharing - so you can get other games that people have released on the page.
*You can become admin if you are a top developer (REQUIRES THAT YOU ARE AN EXPERT)
*You can get the official pages for your current ROM Hacks onto the long description on the page if you provide the link!

I'm not that active on here so don't expect me to be around all the time.
So if you are to consider joining, cheers!

Wait, giving ROM Hacking another go? Bad at it? If you want I can help you with Pokemon Gen 2 hacking XD It's easy.

10
Are you doing this solo? Cus if you need help ask me. I can do concept art for characters and enemies if you want? I can also look up SNES hacking tools to send too?

I'm really interested and would love to help with ideas!

ROM Hacking Discussion / Re: Asm hacking
« on: February 09, 2014, 10:32:31 am »
Pokemon GBA and GB hacking must be the easiest ever since the dev tools are simple since you don't need any experience - you just need to choose the stuff you want or do whatever you want to the map and BAM. You're done. It's just implementing and editing wild pokemon data. ASM is good for title editing though.

I was pretty happy about seeing lugia there but wth I don't really care. Just don't like how it aeroblasted my pikachu XD

13
Bump

14
Umm...I don't get ANYTHING you just said. Argument? Op Code? I kinda know these but...I'm not a pc wizard!

I'm an intermediate ROM Hacker and Intermediate PC User! Not a pro who knows all this crazy stuff who can code stuff and do all these magic things XD

15
I tried...I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND D:

16
Well, I am TERRIBLE with hex editing. It's a bit too technical. TUTORIAL TIME XD

17
Miksy, if I can restore the Safari Zone COMPLETELY (Add wild Pokemon), I defiantly know how maps work XD

Oh and Cret, that may be a side effect form restoring the Safari Zone, or the ROM expansion. I think the ROM type is 1A or 1B?

18
Hmm I looked up on the PDF and it seems like I found out about my ROM's data.
So my ROM type was 1A or 1B?
I looked up the ROMBanks. So 2MB is 128 ROMBanks. I doubled the memory so the  NO. of ROMBanks should be 256, right?

Thanks for the link, cret.

19
I'm all for people making and editing some of their favorite games... but I don't think this hack author really understands what a beta/alpha state is? It seems like most of the edits are fairly arbitrary and don't really have anything to do with early versions of these games, or has any evidence on which to recreate such an experience :(

Actually, on bulbapedia look up it's beta stages. The hard stuffs coming soon. I can't edit the moves. It's not like a gba game. I'm doing my best and I've modernized the game's beta/proto maps using the default tileset. After looking up the real beta on Bulbapedia you'll see where i'm coming from.

Cret were you meant to be making ramulate  ? Why not implement debugging to? I think it's a great idea.
