Setting the language to Japanese enables entering your player's name in Japanese when starting a new game.

I believe this would be a region free title, as it was made before the release of the DSi, which was Nintendo's go at region locking their handhelds.
But a personal save file for a single player game, even if it is in the cloud, can't affect anyone else. I wonder what the law is all about.
Do you happen to have it in kanji? It's a tad difficult to translate it with just hiragana because there are way too many different meanings it could have. Kanji is a kind of like the word, while hiragana is mostly the sound. If you have one with kanji, I'll be more than willing to help .
