I don't speak Japanese, so I have no way of knowing what exactly is being said in Japanese
Oh Jesus lol here we go again. I knew something was wrong from reading the text in those screenshots.
What's with this modern trend in "relocalizing" old games, but just making it up as you go coz you don't know any Japanese, and thinking it sounds better? You end up with a script that's ten times worse than Woolsey/Ireland etc ever did. You're just substituing their cringeworthy jokes and translation errors for your own.

I played about 20 hours of Lunar Eternal Blue with genesis plus gx and there were no sync issues. Some emulators have a cd sync option that's disabled by default (like kega fusion), make sure you enable it.

Drastic doesn't work on Windows making it useless.

This has been on my "to play one day" list for years. Thanks for your hard work. But unfortunately being .cdi only I won't be playing it any time soon.

Am i reading this correctly? Is this another re-write instead of an actual translation? Did the author actually translate the Japanese script? Or just re-write it based off what Clyde said in an off the cuff live stream?

*Edit* I'm an idiot someone already mentioned it above...
The arcade version you want to play is the "Alpha Renewal" version. It's the complete finished version of the game and contains more moves and more animation etc than any of the others.

the game seriously kicked my arse lol

Yeah the western release was ten times harder than the original Japanese version.

I literally just ordered an RGB cable and a transcoder for my Saturn and now i see this. Holy shit :) I love Nextech's games so this should be heaps of fun. Thank you.

This is great so far. I wonder though if you'll be doing undubs and/or fandubs for the games as well.

Full re-writes of the scripts would be more important at this stage. We need to get rid of all the horribly out of date memes and dick/fart jokes first.

Seems like a good hack, thanks. Minor gripe/whinge - I was enjoying it untill an NPC said a really goofy line about the antagonist looking like "an Emo" because he dresses in black. It completely broke my immersion and pulled me right out of the game. That slang seems wildly out of place for the world that the game is set in. But hey that's just me.

This was translated literally 20 years ago already. What's different about this version?

how obnoxiously easy the original Silhouette Mirage actually is
I own the original, it's not obnoxiously easy at all.
You really need to settle down mate, maybe this thread isn't for you.

Of course they did important work, they just did it really poorly and there wasn't much competition at the time and we were too young, stupid and starved for RPG's to notice.

Does anyone know if these patches work with the undubbed Magic Knight Rayearth on Saturn?

Well to be honest grinding was like 95% of the gameplay in DQ1. :D
I do wonder how fast you could actually finish the game if you took out the grinding.

I played through it once with a cheat to cut out the grinding. It's hilariously short.

Can anyone confirm if WD butchered Dragon Force in any way?

Thanks for these patches Supper.

Exile patch is out, but first let me address this:

It's not a problem with your ISO, it means I screwed up editing the script.

Man, that's ok. It's just good to know it wasn't something on my end. Thanks for the update. :)

Alright i got a new copy of the game. Patched it manually this time (before and after patching md5's were correct), and it still crashes at the same part. :\ Has anyone gotten past this point in the game where you speak with Ronfar?

Lunar 2 froze a few hours in, right when I spoke to Ronfar for the first time. First it showed a few empty dialogue boxes then it just outright seized with a bunch of garbage text characters randomly placed on screen. Using win7 x64, Genesis Plus core via Retroarch.
