If I remember correctly, Mesen supports every mapper with sound expansion (Nestopia UE might too, but I've never tested Lagrange Point on it). I assume the Everdrive N8 Pro can play VRC7 no problem, if you want to go the real hardware way

Just out of curiosity: If someone ever makes VRC7 remixes of the Metroid OST, would it be possible to add it to the original ROM? It might also be something you can include in this Ultimate Remake XD

...Yeah, this bootleg seriously needs improvements on the gameplay side. You STILL can't spin-dash into the enemies, as you lose rings and they stay alive

Graphic hacks for Daimakai Mura (Supergrafx) and Splatterhouse (PC Engine/Turbografx-16) which change 3bit background/foreground tiles and sprites with 4bit ones for even better color and closer accuracy to the arcade counterparts

Not sure how possible this would be, but I'd love a hack of Kirby Super Star Ultra that replaces the music and sound effects with the ones from the SNES original. The compressed audio is the biggest flaw of that remake IMO, and adding that would make it pretty much 100% perfect.

The new tracks they added in Ultra are compressed too, but nobody complains about that for some reason lmfao

I dunno, chief. It may also be because Parisoft's homebrew port of Street Fighter 2 gave a run for this hack's money. Yeah, it's only a little demo, but it shows a lot of promise

There's not really an "Ultimate" version of a game, even if it's ROM hack. Some people are gonna be disappointed anyway. But it's still nice to see a new promising hack, especially since Crystal Clear raised the bar a lot. P.S: The genwunner old man cracked me up LMFAO

Bugs to fix in Mother 3 [GBA]:

-Let Thomas' Bazaar restock after Flint obtains the Drago fang, like after any other mini-cutscene.

-Allow Lucas and Duster to maintain items from the prologue and chapter 1 respectively.

-Fix a bug that prevents the Sanchez brothers from all facing a particular direction (can't remember which it is).

-Correct some uses of the word "some" in relation to items.

Lucas and Duster losing their items from Prologue and Chapter 1 is not a bug, since they aren't meant to be used after. They'd be pretty much useless for Chapter 4 anyway lmao
