I was hoping someone could walk me through the steps to submit the content for TM Zero.
What I have is an IPS file, an XML file for the standard rom (on bsnes), as well as a BPS file and a folder generation program (needed to run the translated rom in the latest version of Higan).
Can I include all of these in the same zip and send it to romhacking.net? Is it against the rules to include a program along with the patch file?
Here are the files I need to include...
1. The IPS file
2. The XML file (required to run the game in a version of bsnes that supports xml)
3. The BML file (required to run the in Higan v104)
4. The readme
5. The file splitting program (which allows the rom to be playable in Higan v104)
Since it's not JUST a patch, does that cause a problem? Is there going to be a conflict if I zip all of these things together? Can I upload it directly to romhacking.net?
I've never submitted a patch before, so I hope someone can walk me through the process.
I appreciate it.
Also, I wanted to release the patch on October 22nd, Japanese time. I am concerned, looking at the queue, that this won't be possible.
