Gaming Discussion / Looking for more Japanese to Spanish exclusives
« on: July 20, 2019, 07:55:15 am »
For aNY system . There are 2 epic Jap2Span translations,  99% of the Spanish translations are from the English versions.

Captain Tsubasa 3
Hokuto No Ken 3 (nes RPG)

Any other adventure,  rpg or srpg that only have a a Spanish translation ?

I'm currently playing HNK3 since I dreamt about playing this game for almosf a decade now i get to polish up on my spanish and enjoy this bad boy

Gaming Discussion / I been in th Romhacking world since 1997

In all my years , I've seen unreleased  betas where the image was everywhere and the physical no where

We all know this has always been a normal part of it all.

I cannot remember EVER , where a released game for Gamecube. (gt cube, the sequel to GT advance)

My guess the GC version was cancelled and releaed later for the wii instead.

Despite being a Japanese release GT Cube is 90% in English and can be enjoyed , cellm Shaded graphics and excellent controls

Awesome game

Heck I'll even try a good MSX or pc98 exclusive.

The magical app Google TranslatE lets you Point your cell camera at the TV and get instant translation in real time. It's awesome i can finally play some Strategy RPGS that only need menus and items translations.

I figure games that are not text heavy like maybe Blood Gear, Xak 1&2 on the Pc engine, also strategy rgps or anything menu driven I suppose , I successfully played Captain Tsubasa story on Gamecube using it, but way too many menus to in that one.

Gaming Discussion / Japanese to Spanish translations
« on: February 28, 2019, 01:39:30 pm »
It's a huge thing in the spanish translation community almost a tradition to translate the game from the English version  .

I personally see nothing wrong with this since I didn't mind playing the machine translation of Startling Odyssey 2 and had a blast.

I'm trying to compile  a list or Japanese to Spabish translations, I'm very excited to play the recent Hokuto no Ken rpg just released on the NES .

My list so far is tiny

Captain Tsubasa 3 for the SNES.
Hokuto no Ken 4 for the NES

FUn fact. Captain Tsubasa 3 also is the 4th most downloaded Spanish translation

Gaming Discussion / Will we ever see PC Engine CD more epic translations?
« on: December 30, 2018, 03:39:48 pm »
The sheer number of both definitive RPG ports and exclusives for the system is rather mind boggling.  Arunamu No Kiba  is an exclusive that I feel is a very underrated RPG just to name one.

Xak 1&2 remake for the system is also something I think English gamers should experience. I played through Xak 1 and 2 on the MSX and I truly feel Xak 1 is one of the greatest action RPGs of that Era. I enjoyed Xak1 much more than Ys 1 and 2 for any system except the PCE CD versions obviously.

Far East of Eden Ziria is gaming HISTORY as it's the first CD ROM console RPG and it's a good game. The sequel on the same system is even better with a higher production value aND awesome battles.

I really hope one day once the NES and SNES projects are satisfied  we move on to the epics we missed . I'm still holding off playing Emerald Dragon on SNES hoping for the PCE version to be translated as I've heard rumors.

Blood Gear though you may not need Japanese knowledge to beat the game is such a great game. I honestly got stuck later in the game not knowing the language what to do in a certain outdoor level which kept looping.

Any other PCE games you think are wOrth bringing over to English?

Gaming Discussion / Can't get Ys4 dub to work properly
« on: November 15, 2018, 07:13:35 am »
I'm about to just play my Ys4 PECD that's just text translated.

I've tried applying the patch. I found a pre patched one and I get different errors

Someone please help.

Hello, im relatively new to DREAMCAST emulation , i have nullDC 1.0.4 rev150 which is i believe the lateset version and even plays the Sega Sports games that never worked on previous versions. Almost every game I can play on full blast graphics with what i believe is the Graphics plugin that comes with the emu.

I got the game SILVER after wanting it since 1999 when i played the demo. Its kinda like FF7 with 3d characters and full pre rendered backgrounds. I remember when replaying many games throughout the past 15 years on ePSXe , the pre rendered backgrounds would sometimes be glitchy in older versions of ePSXe .But now that has been fixed.

the only glitches occur in the pre rendered backgrounds and it breaks the photo down into a grid map looking thing . I tried messing with all the graphics options. I saw a video of someone successfully playing the game SILVER on NullDC on youtube but have zero information on his setup , hopefully he will respond seeing as he was active 1 month ago.

this game is one of the best UK made RPGs ever made, and i would hate to run the PC version over the dreamcast version. Please help

Gaming Discussion / Valis 2 error on DuoR/ Magic Engine emu
« on: December 31, 2017, 04:02:15 am »
I tried both the American and Japanese version in magic engine they freeze in the opening scene and I have to reset the game at a certain point of the opening movie If I skip the opening movie before the freeze the game will just crash randomly in another cutscene. When I play it in my Duo are the actual levels will sometimes be missing background music, I cannot remember if the game would freeze on cutscenes when played on the turbo Duo R Japanese system.

I know it's not good to play cdrs on a turbo Duo system because the laser will keep going too far off track when I played Yse book on my 200r after beating the y's One it would freeze in the intermission but when I play the same CD on magic engine there is no freeze during the intermission allowing me to play y's 2 just saying this as an example

Gaming Discussion / Playing Tengai Makyou Zero on ZSNES???
« on: December 29, 2017, 09:21:17 pm »
im poor and have a nearly ten year old crap laptop with 64megs vram if im lucky 128 not even relevant. I cant play ps2 , I barely run 3do on it. That being said snes9x my fave emulator runs with scuffed audio no matter how much I downgrade the graphics. ZSNES will play with everything audio video on max

My friend messaged me the Modded SNES9x emulator that runs TMZ and it plays and workds perfect except MY COMPUTER IS TRASHHHH

In the readme I read a patched ZSNES works. Any links to the zsnes that runs Tengai Makyou ZerO Please? I LOOOVED Oriental Blue since it was my first time I could play a Far East of Eden game. I've been in awe of the series since I got it in a bundle of CDs for the TurboDuo , I got Ziria and part 2 and even though I know no Japanese I felt the magic and quality coming from the game

Gaming Discussion / How do i burn Bin Cue on Windows 7? ?
« on: December 28, 2017, 07:01:49 am »
I used to use Nero Burning Rom 6 on XP. now I got windows 7, Burning Rom 6 incompatible. I tried using Burining Rom 10 and it wont work for me. Error on LINE 1?

Its been a decade since I burned bin cue files. Can someone point me in the right direction. Also the bin cue file was .ogg , I converted them all to WAV . Then on the notepad I changed all the OGG to WAV in the cue file. The .ISO says BINARY

so is this correct? Is my program wrong or my setup of the cue file. I cant remember nothing

Gaming Discussion / Best FIRE EMBLEM full game hacks

The Last Promise is probably top 3 of the best complete hacks . Incredible detail

Gaming Discussion / Spanish Translations and exclusives
« on: February 04, 2016, 11:58:10 pm »
When it comes to the hacking world of Spanish gaming translators have always piggybacked off the English version of the games .

There are only two exclusives that went from Japanese to Spanish.  Captain Tsubasa 3 (97% translated). And Romancing Saga 3.

Shin Megami Tensei is the most downloaded patch. Captain Tsubasa is closing in at second place. Hopefully Romancing Saga will get the deserved attention

Gaming Discussion / about to beat Fire Emblem Gaiden
« on: August 06, 2015, 01:19:27 am »
This game has been great and the light rpg elements kept the experience fresh. Im surprised this was the first and.last game of its kind. You switch off two main partys, I have a suspicion there are two endings. I'll try to finish this weekend and find out.

I liked it better than FE1 but I got mad at 1 when I reached a mission (In the teens) w her there was a wizard not even y strongest warriors could scratch.

The final battle was extremely epic and well executed for an NES game, this game had high production value and was wrapped up storywise in cinematic form.
