Hello! Total beginner here in need of help. I know this isn't strictly a rom hacking thing but I'm fairly sure it would involve similar methods up to a point. Basically, a couple of us are working on making a video which is a mock-up of a Myst or 7th Guest style Sega Mega CD game, using images and videos. However, for the life of me I just can't get the settings on Photoshop or Vegas right to make them look authentic - they either just look generically poor quality or too good, frankly. What would be the best way to compress them to make them look authentically like they came from a Sega Mega CD game? I'm assuming I would use similar methods to if I really were compressing them for the hardware.
