I always thought Megaman knew his shrooms. Guess I was right! :P

Some would also say the story of DQV was BETTER than that of DQVI! :P

But it was! :P

I think the name's alright. But maybe a better name would be "Experience exploit fix"

Blame MM2 Remix still being there on me, I think I played every level except Quick Man's :-[

Yeah, same here. I played most of the stages, but not Quickman's. I was the fool who approved the hack in the first place. I didn't bother to check the readme until after the hack was already added.

Yeah, we're still discussing what to do about incomplete patches. Regarding not being able to beat the game, there are at least 1 or 2 other romhacks we have posted that are the same way.

Update: I just changed Megaman 2 remix's description to read: "for anyone who felt Mega Man 2 was too easy, this is the rom hack for you! Every level(besides Dr. Wily's  Castle) has been reworked extensively to provide a far greater challenge than the original game. In addition, there are a couple graphics modifications, and a slightly different story.HOWEVER... Quickman's stage is unfinished, and can only be beaten with passwords. "

Maybe Sega just realizes it won't be profitable to release them, I doubt that outside of the fan comunity there is much demand.

NO, they'd rather just keep dumping crappy ass Phantasy Star Online and Shining Force Action/Rpg's on us!!! DAMN THEM TO HELL!!!! :(

Yeah, Dragon Quest 5 just may be my favorite game in the whole series, but I love them all...so it's tough!

Yeah, that's a problem a lot of people had with PS3. It was VERY slow paced.

I thought the generations aspect was one of the best things in Phantasy Star 3. Not many Rpg's before or since have offered branching stories like that. I'd honestly like to see more games have a feature like that!

Even compared to the other PS games, 3 holds it's own. The problem is, it's too different gameplay and story-wise from the rest of the series.

HEY! PS3 isn't all bad. Although, it probably should've been a gaiden title, instead of a Phantasy Star proper...

Shadowrun's got Huffmann dialogue, if I remember correctly. You ain't gonna be touching -that- with a hex editor :p This should be moderately easier.

I know I'll certainly be changing a few names I'm used to, but it'll A) be a five-minute-tops simple text hack, and B) you won't see any modified patch released by me, as that would be extremely impolite.

You could always ask for permission to release a modified patch, nothing impolite in that imho :)

But regardless, i'll live with the names either way!  ;D

The LaShiec and Lutz I can live with. They called Noah that in PS2 and 4 anyway, it'll fix some continuity. But Odin should stay Odin. That sounds a hell of a lot cooler than Tyrone if you ask me. The planet names I could go either way with, since they changed the english translations every game. I can't wait to see this get released!  ;D

I actually had freaky ass dreams about Phantasy Star 2 battles when I was a kid. I got chased around by a bunch of creepy ass monsters...and whenever I got near them...the PS2 Battlesystem would come up...complete with lot's of flashing lights and stuff...and monsters moving around. That freaked me out, but looking back I feel "woah, that dream kicked MY ass"  ;D

Ohhh, you could play thru the entire old "translation" too...it just was far from enjoyable to do.

19
Yeah, no crap! And it's the very LEAST they could've done too!

I can't wait for this translation! It's about time BoFII got the treatment it deserves
