*NEW* Three new packs released today for use with Darkshock's "ActRaiser" MSU-1 enhancement patch. All tracks taken from my "ActRaiser: Rebirth of the People" album which was also released today. grab them from the links below, enjoy!

*NEW* this one is a bit late since I have released this album last year but only now had to the time to work on turning disc 3 from Metroid Legacy: The Samus Aran Chronicles into a complete Super Metroid MSU-1 soundpack. Since the album was not a 1:1 cover of every theme, I actually had to make a few extra tracks exclusive to this pack. If you ever wanted to replay Super Metroid to the iconic sounds of Vangelis Yamaha CS-80 patches, now is the time.

Fantastic job! Looking forward for a public released, count on me to spread the word when it's done.

Thank you, I was indeed using the correct version all along, with the final ROM CRC D6A107DD. But I would have never remembered to change that CPU core setting. It still doesn't work on Muppen64 but I should be able to get some good footage for my Nintendo Life article on Project 64 this way. Thanks man!

I will also download the N64 core on RetroArch and throw the patched game at it, I keep forgetting I have RetroArch for more than PSX games. Thanks again!

I do have the .z64  format ROM as required by the patch readme notes and it successfully patches with xdelta, but it keeps crashing on all emulators because the MD5 don't match with the expected ROM file. I will now give your solution a try, thanks.

Update: Still no good, I converted a few .n64 to .z64, the patch applies but Mupen64 just crashes right back to Windows, Project 64 gives out "Fatal Error" and 1964 just hangs. Very odd. :banghead:

6
Anyone else having trouble using xdelta on "Densha de Go! 64"?
I am unable to find a ROM dump with the correct MD5. :banghead:

Congratulations in this stunning effort. Will do my best to get the word out.

Thank you! Ah, this failing memory of mine... ::)

Happy New Year everyone!

Fantastic work, just wanted to drop Nightcrawler a big shout out for completing this. I don't know why the article I sent Nintendo Life remains unpublished, I will ask the editor why it wasn't published, this certainly is more than deserving of attention.

This is a bit odd, but I seem to be unable to beat the very first battle against Pteranodon. I know how the battle system works, I keep successfully defending and attacking him but he just doesn't stay down. It has been many years since I played this in it's original state, but I don't think he took this many hits to bring down. I'm using bsnes+ 0.73+3a and the anime translation. Anyone else having the same issue? :-\

And Happy New Year for everyone here! :woot!:

News Submissions / Re: ROM Hacks: And We're the Game Grumps!

This is absolutely fantastic work. I actually submitted a news post for this at Nintendo Life last week, but sadly policies within the website regarding NSFW languange meant it went unpublished. Excellent work from everyone who helped make this a reality. I am quite enjoying the episodes with it as well.

Video up, hope it raises awareness. ^_^

cccmar: Sorry for the off topic, just want to congratulate and thank you for Dahna: Megami Tanjou. A gem of a game that I now hope more people take notice.

15
The game was just re-released in Japan for the New 3DS Virtual Console. :woot!: Trailer here.

Post up at Nintendo Life, hope your work gets it's deserved attention. Great work.

ddstranslation: I will be out on vacations soon, but I want to make sure I don't miss out on the final release of the patch so I can do a write up about it for Nintendo Life and also spread the news using my YouTube channel. Could you please drop me a line when it's nearly "Go Time"?

Much appreciated, keep up the good work.

My pleasure, love the game series, excellent work on this. 8)
