I'm not referring to the in-mission radio stuff, I think that looks fine, I was referring to this.

https://imgur.com/a/U9bb0xl I think this looks fine, perfectly legible. That said, it could be slightly bigger without having to rewrite given that there is a fair amount of space in the text box.

Looking forward to the finished English release of the patch either way

I meant more for the FMV cutscenes with the black bars. The subtitle font during the codec stuff where the characters are talking to each other looks ok to me.

For X4, is it possible to increase the subtitle size on the undub patch just a little bit? I can barely read them on my 21 inch monitor. I'm sure it's possible while still being able to fit it in. Also, some full stops would be nice too. There's plenty of wasted black space that could be used to make the subs easier to read.

The final build of Illusion of Gaia had some changed names compared to the Japanese version and even the beta.

Weirdly enough I've tried to apply the Trilogy Addendum patch to a rom file but when it just shows a black screen on OpenEmu. Shoud I try finding a different rom?

UPDATE: Tried a different rom and it worked. My advice is to look out for a rom that has (U) at the end of the file. That indicates that it's a No-Header file.

Thanks for the undub link for X8. It'd be cool if someone could patch in the Japanese OP/ED of X3 to the English PS1/Saturn versions.

So does the Spekkio patch, besides the inclusion of the Always Restart mod, include the Trilogy Addendum? According to a review, the last two bosses seem to require very specific strategies and armor.

Does Lufia II have an Always Retry hack? Hopefully it can be applied to Frue Lufia.

The Saturn version has smoother FMV compared to the PS1, however with borders to fit into the Saturn aspect ratio. I do have a bit of a fondness for the Japanese version CD version OP/ED too.
