Hi everyone, I honestly have no skill in modifying PlayStation Roms, so I'm wondering if it's possible to create an uncensored MegaMan Legends hack, and if there are people interested in trying something like this.

Things like restoring Paprika's alternate scene for example.

I'm also thinking about a patch that includes the hard mode from the beginning of the game.

Thanks. Added to my post. Now, wouldn't this be the best way to add an English logo to the standard Mega Man 3? Using the Japanese rom with English text pasted in? My ideal versions of MM2 and MM3 would be MM2 using the English rom (to preserve the difficulty selection) and Japanese rom for MM3.

And thanks to everyone else as well.

I absolutely agree that it would be a bit easier to make a logo patch for Megaman 3 Vanilla using the Japanese Rockman 3 Rom.

This would avoid the hassle of restoring the "get a weapon" sprite that comes up on the title screen and the Copyright text below. They would only have to change the "Rock" to "Mega" in the logo and insert and replace the few Japanese texts, and of course they would have to change the mini logo of the Stage Select.

Can Battle Network logos be made to look more like Rockman.exe logos? In BN1 to BN4 the American logos differ a lot from the original Japanese ones, here is an example of this:

A suggestion darthvaderx if you plan to do the Japanese style logo for the original Megaman 3, it would be better if you did it in the Japanese version, of course only in case you couldn't add the Megaman sprite in the US rom, although the problem is that you would have to translate the game....

I say this because if I didn't have the Megaman sprite in the title screen it wouldn't be totally a Japanese style Megaman 3 patch.

I didn't notice that the image above is the vanilla rom from Megaman 3?

Or am I wrong?

Good luck.

I don't know if I arrived too late to this post but I thank you all for your effort for this project .

Change the background color to black in Megaman 1 is something simple, in this case it would be the patch "Rockman to Megaman" Use a Hexadecimal editor and look for the values "02 12 20 3C" that correspond to the palettes of the background, (You can check it with the PPU viewer of Fceux) Change all the values from "02" to "0F".

I guess you could modify the logo to make it look more like other games.

How do I fix the sound of the Charge shot in Mega Man 6? :-[

Could someone tell me how to make the Charge shot not sound like a normal lemon xD?

I want to add that improvement to my translation of Mega Man 6 (both Japanese and American versions).
