Personal project topics can be and should be created in this sub forum. A 'Personal Project Topic' is one that's sole purpose is to discuss the activity of a specific in progress project the topic creator is working on. Topic content would include screenshots, showing progress, updates, asking for opinions on various aspects of said project, font choice polling, etc. Projects can include ROM Hacks, Translations, Documents, Utilities, or any other related project.
This is not a release announcement sub forum. If your project is complete, please submit it (http://www.romhacking.net/submitfiles/) to the database and feel free to write a news article (http://www.romhacking.net/submitnews/) about it's release.
If you just want to show off a quick screenshot and don't think a topic is warranted, feel free to just use the Screenshots (http://www.romhacking.net/forum/index.php/topic,590.0.html) thread.
Rules:
1. One topic per project or one topic per projects by the same author if the author chooses.
2. The topic should define what type of project it is and not be vague.
3. The project must be an established project and you must have something to show for it. We do not want any projects in the 'idea' or 'concept' phase. Only 'real' active projects.
4. Do not create an excessive number of topics if you have multiple projects. This hogs up equal opportunity on the topic listings for other people to have their projects and topics viewed. If you have many projects, you'll need to create one topic covering the projects for your group or person.
I think there's an option to change how many threads are viewable per page under profile settings. A concrete number for the "first page" would probably be a good idea.
No, there is no user option for this. This is set by the Admin.

What? Posts per thread is not limited... If you made a mistake and mean to say something else, I can probably already say no. Increasing topics per page or posts per page will increase database load for each page load. That's something that can't be afforded at this time.

yeah I meant posts per page... 15 is annoyingly small.
Then again, this is coming from someone who likes to jack it up to like, 99.

Haha, as do I. 15 does feel a little claustrophobic, but if it'll cause problems i suppose just leave it as is.
Would creating a topic in this forum be appropriate for future versions of my Shadowrun Female Player mod? Seeing as the News Article topic was locked but I'm continuing work on rooting out bugs and hopefully eventually replacing some graphics I stand to be working on this for a while and would appreciate (constructive) input and feedback.
Shouldn't this be a locked-stickied thread?
Yes, it should be.
