Astyanax...

Astyanax... *voices coming from the dark*

Astyanax, I'm waiti-- What?  Oh, your name is Roche?  Oops!  My bad!

For those who don't know, the original name of Jaleco's Astyanax was called "The Lord of King".  Also, the hero was not named after someone from Greek Mythology.  His real name is Roche.  Other names were changed.  Anyway, be sure to check out the original game without Nintendo's censorship painted all over it.

Four patches are available.  (Two are for the JPN Rom, IPS and BPS format.  Two are for the USA ROM, IPS and BPS.)

What a random assortment of names.  Roche?  Thompson of Remila?  Devil McMahon?  The guys a Jaleco had to have been inspired by the names of the time, there. (Thompson Twins, Vince McMahon.)

I wonder how much more stuff was changed between the versions?  Well, only one way to find out, I guess.
(One way without learning Japanese, myself, I mean~)
