Title: Aladdin NES (Hummer Team): The Complete Improvement Project

Hi guys again! I'm gonna show you guys an improvement on Aladdin (NES, Hummer Team) that I'm working on. This project is based off the hack by The Jabu and Gigasoft back in 2020, this hack should add everything from the original SNES version.

Here is the title screen that it is in work in progress.

There was one hack by Mario Bendor combining both Gigasoft's and The Jabu's ones with some graphics changes to be more faithful to SNES version https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/4915/ You plan on going even further?
P.S. to be honest I personally like hack by The Jabu, it makes game more pleasant to play, but I don't like Gigasoft's one. Yeah, it makes it sound like SNES version, but I prefer melody and instruments of "original"(if you may call pirate port original :laugh:).

TheGuyWhoNeverFoundZoeySiewertsHouse:as I told you I always imagined this but I'm not a programmer, but I know how to draw sprites and I've been drawing aladdin's sprites for Nes, can I post a link here to see if you can use it in the game? one thing I've been thinking about the gameplay, it could have a better configuration in the game ok I'll explain and if you can do it will be very surprising, currently button A jumps, button B throws apple, hold directional button up to glide, gameplay perfect would be A jump, B flat, directional up and close B throws apple, directional down aladdin lowers and presses B to throw apple down, that would be perfect, planar holding B we would have better control of aladdin gliding ;D :thumbsup:

I don't understand what you said here. What is "planar"?

Lusofolia: Planar when the Aladdi uses a towel or carpet I do not know what it is, but it flat using this and it would be much better holding B instead of being in the directional up as it is currently in the NES, Play the ROM for you to understand better configuration I said would be perfect for a good experience of Aladdin 8 bit nes

it seems that the word planar has no translation, in short, aladdin flies using a mat or towel I'm not sure what it is

The idea of placing "CAPCOM" is not bad but "Hummer Team" should go with more standard fonts that look more professional, worse for that to increase the size a bit. Try to make the letters graphic just like you did with the CAPCOM ones. look for lyrics from other games. Edit them with an image editor program.

To me, the worst part of Hummer Team's bootleg games is the off-key high-pitched music. Take their unofficial NES port of Super Mario World, for example.
