I guess this is what all that Switch Pro talk was about. https://www.gematsu.com/2021/07/nintendo-switch-oled-model-announced-launches-october-8

I'm in the habit of selling or giving Switches away, so I might do the same for my current one and just buy the OLED version, I'm actually kinda interested in those audio enhancements too.

Yes, I am primarily interested in this only in regards to whether it means I can get a Switch for cheap.

I am absolutely baffled to think that there are going to be people rushing out to buy this on release day without first establishing whether they've managed to make the joycon drift problem even worse, or something.

I was going to buy the Switch V2 until I saw the news about the OLED model so I guess I'll wait until it comes out and see.

I loved how Nintendo announced the OLED to a resounding "Meh"

Then a week later Valve steps in saying "Hey, check out this shiny new SteamDeck"  >:D
