Title: How to make a lock work in SMB3.(RESOLVED)

I am using the map editor and am putting a lock to block the end castle of world 1.
However the lock will not work.  I can walk through the lock??  Does anyone know why?

Put the lock in the middle of a track not on a space you walk on.
