Title: need help to translating texts 32*32

dear friends
i want your help
i know translating texts 16*16 i mean normal mode
my problem now is about translating texts 32*32
i want to translate texts of big texts with hex or any outher possibility
that's the big words like this

the problem is this kanji words writing with 2 chars that make difficult in translating texts with hex
what can i do

I can't see your scratchpad.

My suggestion...be more specific. I find that people tend to respond better to 'help me' threads if you give them a small, specific question. Here's an example...
"I'm working on translating X game from Japanese to Y language, but the Z word on the menu screen is too small to fit into Y language, here's a screenshot".

So, what game, what language, what word won't fit, and a picture we can see.

the problem is japanese word writing with 2 byte whitch mean 4 chars lile the previous picture
exemple in the ordinary alphabet we had 26 word we had for exemple a=01 b=02 c=03 and else
but the problem of the big words like kanji japanese is writing with 4 chars not like normal chars writ,g with 1 char
what can i do to detect their codes and edit them thanks to helping me

We still can't see the picture. Try an image host instead.

As for what I THINK the author is saying, I think the problem is with double-byte words. The 16*16 and 32*32 nonsense doesn't help, though.

So, like, 80 01 = あ; 80 02 = い; 90FE = 薔 ?

When I click on it, it says something like 'you're not the owner of this file, access denied'.

The scratchpad wasn't designed to be a file sharing box.

Maybe the people running RHDN could have made it easier to post images, but with the wide variety of free image hosting websites, it's only a slight inconvenience.

Why don't you just tell us what game it is and which system (NES,SNES,PC) I figure the original is in Japanese, and you want a way to search for the kanji characters with a hex editor.

You see. Every game is different. And, people like to answer these kinds of questions by obtaining the actual game and looking at its graphics and code and such.

I don't think this has anything to do with graphics; I think it's more a mix-up of single bytes vs. double-byte character encoding.

@megamanz: Do not TheScratchPad for sharing files, it is for site staff only. Use Ze bucket for files; or if its an image, use imgur.

I can see your image now.

The process for translating 32x32 should be the same as translating 16x16. Your example looks 16x16, by the way. Kanji characters might be a slight challenge, since they represent a word with 1-2 byte, and would have to be replaced with many more bytes to be translated. If you run out of space, you might have to move the text string to an empty part of the ROM, or create a special narrow font to squeeze the word into a tighter space, or perhaps edit the text to be shorter.

I'm assuming you're going to replace all these (graphics) with Arabic characters?

Sorry. I don't know SNES programming enough to figure it out for you. Maybe you could work on an NES game instead.

Aren't those 16x16 though?

By the way, are those Arabic letters amidst the Japanese, at slots C1 and E7?
