Title: Mario hack with Metroid?
Post by: adeleeevee on December 27, 2013, 06:49:56 pm
Ok, so I know alot about pirated games (ones actually on carts or blatant ripoffs) but when it comes to making them myself, I'm clueless. I happened to stumble on The Spriter's Resource, and I had played a Mario game with Pikachu in it, so my friend suggested I change out Mario's sprite with Samus instead since I wanted to start out with an easy project. I downloaded a sprite sheet with a walk cycle on it and the Mario rom (original SMB NES), but I don't know what/which NES sprite editor to get. Can someone guide me in the right direction? :D

Um, I don't know if it's the fact that I'm using Windows XP, but there's a bunch of random symbols I can't figure out. Help?

For a different editor, but still applicable.
