I tried using a similar typography. Please [criticize (I'm no graphic artist).

1. *This. And maybe try spelling the title as "Magical★Taruruuto-kun" with the star at the end of "Magical" included.
2. The second "ru" in that swirly design.
3. The "Taru" and "ruto" letters the same design as the JP title. (Basically all letters should have a similar style as the JP title)
4. Each word placed like in the JP title identically.
5. Try to Capitalize Each Word

You're right, I misidentified the japanese font. I choose a rounded Arial, and added bubbles :

I felt the palette was too bright compared to the japanese logo, So I restored the original palletes back
