Project64K Legacy 2.4.2 Released

This is Project64K (core 1.4) from Smash64 allowing support for network play via Kaillera.

Project64K is a special version of Project64 the Nintendo 64 emulator including the Multiplayer game via the kaillera module, the additional p2p option, the AQZ option (plugin).

    Added

    – SmashRemix 1.3.1 to RDB
    – 19XX 1.6 (TE, CE, & NE) to RDB
    – Welsh translation, courtesy of Plague von Karma
    – Experimental stream tool for Remix 1.2.0+
    – Vanilla Japanese version would crash after a game
    – [Beta] P2P NAT traversal support via autopunch v0.0.4
    – Incorrect spellings of German words with umlauts and eszetts
    – Automatic update checks, in the background
    – Dedicated menu item for the updater
    – Support for more external tools via Open Tools menu (coming soon!)
    – Integrated Killer OP support (A popup will offer to close other KSE at launch)
    – German translation, courtesy of u9verse

    Fixed
    – Potentially fixed Smash Remix crashing on open
    – Windows 7: Updater crashing when opening
    – Boomputer cheat was incorrect
    – Kaillera windows will not disappear when changing monitors anymore
    – Bug where Project64KSE wouldn't close during update

    Changed
    – Removed « You must close the the Kaillera windows first » popup
    – The ROM list automatically refreshes on launch
    – Small status bar tweaks, FPS will only show ##.# now
    – Made a few more menu items translatable
    – Tweaked a few cheat notes

What is the N64 emulator of choice these days, anyway? I know there's been some excitement about cycle-accurate emulation, but I don't know if that was ever finished (and if its system requirements are reasonable).

rmg is what i've migrated to since simple64 apparently has growing pains.

the problem is it's all still mupen based

In fact, as I've seen the K beside the 4 of 64, I thought it was that.

I'd have guessed "64 Kilobytes" first, but that's cuz I'm old

K stands for Kaillera, the online client it now can work with.
