Being able to edit Celerity and Bonebreak is wonderful and was definitely on my wishlist. The other moves that would be nice to edit are Double and Triple Blow.

Version 1.8 update:

Have found that Celerity and Bonebreak each have their own CPU instructions for how many hours until next use, and how fast the timer counts down.  That means you can edit Celerity and Bonebreak individually.

Since editing the starting amount of time for them is only in increments of 1 hour, I figured that many people might want smaller increments.  That's what the centisecond adjustments are for.  Lets say you want to wait 4 minutes between uses for Celerity.  You would just set the number of hours to 1, then set the centiseconds to 1, and you're all set.  You can set the centisecond adjustment higher if you want more time between uses.  You can set the number of hours to zero if you want to be able to use it again immediately.  As soon as the timer reaches zero, you'll see the "Celerity" text in the menu turn from a light gray (meaning it isn't available) to a brighter white which means it's ready to use again.

Just an FYI, the timer runs even if you're just standing there doing nothing in battle.

In the Faerie Village Casino Number Guessing game, if you had set the number of cards that the dealer has to a lower number (lets say only 3 cards), you would still have 9 cards to choose from.  Was thinking about it and thought it would be a nice touch to make it so the number of cards you had to choose from matched the number of cards the dealer has.  Have added that extra feature to the editor.

I assume you would want to be able to edit the amount of damage from Double and Triple Blow?

Also, you had mentioned earlier that you had someone in a Discord channel that had lots of the Breath of Fire 4 stuff mapped out.  Probably going to start on a BoF 4 editor soon, so that could save me a lot of time.  How can I get that info?

This version has a new "Misc" section for editing Celerity and Bonebreak timers, as well as lots of Casino stuff in the Faerie Village.

Thanks for the info.  navarchos has already sent me a PM with his info, which is much appreciated.

Version 1.8 bugs:

Was going through the editor and noticed a couple bugs I had missed before.  Will get these fixed shortly, but just wanted to let you know about them.

#1): If you select "Healing Items" from the first page (Items/Battles) before you open your ROM, the editor will switch the selection to "Weapons" (which is the default selection), but it doesn't switch the list of items.  This only happens if you select "Healing Items" BEFORE opening your ROM.  If this happens, you can fix it by just clicking on any of the round selection buttons.

#2): If you select the "Dragons/Faeries" page, it incorrectly shows the Faerie stats when it should be showing the Dragon stats.  This can easily be fixed by clicking on any of the round buttons to select what you want to edit.

Will get these two bugs fixed soon.

You're fast!! So far, you've done an amazing job with this editor (and others as also).

Greetings, first of all. Thank you for this project, this gives a new breath of life to this awesome and forgotten game. In all my years of playing this, i would like to help you a little bit as much as i can.
After years of GameFAQs forums there is forum user that data mined the game a lot. He made a enemy data base that might help you in developing this tool. He goes by second_advent. I link his guide so you can check it out.

Also another member of the forum, GoSu1, made a modding tool, but unfortunately is no finished. I will link the tool so you can check it out too. Maybe get some ideas on what to implement.

Another minor things about breath of fire 3 is that during development capcom in japan made a lot of contest for fans. Some of them got a in game reference. Like Toshiro in windia and his Midas Stone. It would not be surprising if durandal is another fan referece. He is useless as a master because he is a "Normal guy with a normal life" and not a master of combat. Hondara requires for you to learn from people and not just fighting and killing. Thats why you need the ability "Backhand" witch is an not lethal attack.

Are you having problems with the editor, or are you just requesting some stuff?

Thanks for all the info.  I used several guides from GameFaqs when working on the editor, and pretty sure that enemy guide you linked to was one of them.  Lots of good information in there.

Although I don't remember if I ever tried that mod tool you mentioned, I do remember that it had a lot of good content.

Glad if it helps. A question. How hard do you think it is to implement a ramdomizer in your tool? For example, ramdomize stats grows, having a mage garr or a tank nina. Random enemy levels. Or exp gains. Or maybe a game plus feature? Carry over stuff like levels and equipment. Having super leveled up enemies so your over levels dont affect your game play.

KingMike

You're asking a user to implement a feature that is worthy of its own development cycle. Randomizer take effort to make something that isn't incredibly broken, "Plus" features would also require rewriting game programming to add support.
It is not considerate to ask for unannounced features.

What do you mean "It is not considerate to ask for unannounced features.". You are making it sound like i'm imposing him to do what i want. I am just asking him how hard it would be implement.

Please refrain from assuming my intentions, thank you very much.

Adding a randomizer is way beyond the scope of this editor.
