I'm trying to work on creating a replica of the golden age of MMX, using an engine, this is part of training to create a future original game, I see that you master the codes of this game very well, can you offer me some help?

I know about all the methods of getting only 80%, I need all the BackGroud animations that are the hardest and I believe I can only really extract the original files or something like that.
I get All BMG, S.E. and 80% of the game's Sprites.

theres other situations that freeze the game while using Gaea Armor with an special weapon, in the video i showed every location that this happen

when you use tri-thunder near a wall or enemies it will cause a small bug, this happens because these projectiles disappear very fast and the game ends up shooting an X-Buster uncharged in place

about Parts Menu, "Buster Plus", "Burst Shots" and "Speed Shot" while equipped on Gaea Armor (without Arm Upgrade) will visually bug her Giga Attack (only changing pallete colors), after upgrade this will happen only until you die or conclude an stage

-if Ultimate Buster is equipped in Gaea (with arm upgrade) it will disable your charged shot and you'll only be able to have 1 projectile on screen per time
-this one isn't a bug but more like an "limitation", Ultimate Buster doesnt affect X(Normal), Falcon and Gaea if you try to use Charged Special Weapons

and as a bonus a little fight between Ride Armor "Eagle" vs Burn Dinorex

there are technically 3 viruses, this one\/ is for the Sigma Virus that appears in the stages (this DmgTable is only active when using "Virus Buster")

Zero Virus is "Common Enemies" and Psycho Sigma creates 3 viruses that rotates around him, these are "Sigma (1st Form)"

Also, what do i need to change to restore Gaea Armor's speed to its original? (I miss my "Heavy" Armor)

and a suggestion for Gaea Armor, what if Dash has the ability to erase projectiles as well? i mean, Gaea's Dash just pushes the V-Block and as it shows graphics when using it, it would be cool to have another skill attached to it, would be something like a green field protecting him?

Hey, what are the codes to put the special weapons on the gaea armor and that the falcon load them anyway if it's not a bother, even though I know they can freeze the game

when using an charged shot with gaea armor for a moment his knee will look a bit dislocated, while inside Ride Armor when performing an attack he will receive a heart in his head(what a lovely armor, right?) and Zero Boss has a few bugged animations (probably Dynamo and Zero Nightmare have the same problems in X6)

- A small bugfix, the Ultimate Armor mugshot should now display correctly (instead of displaying the last used armor)

Not a very elegant workaround. But it should work.
I uploaded it directly to the download page in the first post. The RHDN page should direct to it anyway.

I literally had to download the last release and apply the fix to it directly, because my current "work in progresss build" is waaaaay different. I've been working on a couple of big things over the last year.
...but this time, I prefer to hold on to them and make one big update further down the line, when it's all ready. So things will continue to be quite around here for some time.

Thanks Danielxz and everyone reporting bugs and suggesting ideas. I might not be able to tackle all of them, but I am saving all of them into my notes.

well thanks tho but I really wish there was an max lifebar cheat code also If I pick Z-Buster charging animation as a code it would be like this:

playing and paying attention in everything, for example when Zero is ducking if you attack (square) for a short moment he's thumb will desapear (Pteranoid's chin has some white pixels too), try seeing it yourself

about F-Splasher's Dash Burst, its only me that think it still looks kinda weird? this thing is from Zero's Dash Burst, what about displaying the entire animation or even removing it instead off leaving this "thing" displaying alone?

Mega Man X4 - Slash Beast Stage has 1 bug whenever you press START,  Train sounds will be disabled until you die / change to AREA 2 / exit and go back to the same Stage

Is there a version of this hack that only included the retranslation and sound/voice restorations? That's the kind of thing I'm looking for without all the gameplay and qol improvements (even if it would be better with them lol). Or something like the X6 Tweaks Patcher where you can just pick/choose the options. Completely understand if not tho^^

That's exactly how it looks like on the original game. I only adjusted the vertical alignment.

Check the older v1.5 release from the download page and manually reverse some of the changes with the readme instructions. It won't cover everything, but it's the closest thing to what you want.

Hiya, I decided to look through the XA music files on the disc in jpsxdec after applying the patch, cuz I wanted to see which "Unused Stage Select Theme" was being used in this patch, incase I wanted to change it myself manually.  However, when I went looking through BGM2.XA and BGMI.XA, I couldn't find the track anywhere inside of them, and I also noticed that "Armagedon" wasn't present either.  Any insight into this?

I've been collecting notes for awhile. Whenever I do something new, I write a step by step, mostly for my own future reference.
I'll either start a blog or a Substack eventually, but that takes a lot of the little time I have for actually hacking, so I don't plan on getting there until after I finish what I currently have on my plate (another Goemon translation + a big X5 update)
