Kajitani-Eizan was hanging around Cless’s Phantasian Production (PP) boards back in October 2002 when Tales of the World: Narikiri Dungeon 2 came out. Cless posted a translated screenshot as a semi-joke. Kajitani-Eizan decided to actually try doing it for real. And so he evolved from a mostly incompetent ROM hacker to a semi-incompetent ROM hacker, with lots of help from the PP boards, Zophar’s Domain, etc. etc. along the way.
Projects include Cybergoth’d translations of Tales of the World: Narikiri Dungeon 2 and 3 and Tales of Phantasia (GBA port), as well as correction patches for the US and European releases of Tales of Phantasia.
No, they’re not dropped, but there’s really nothing much to report unless he posts news on his website. Work progresses at an easy, slow pace. (Okay, well, the Tales of Phantasia translation is dropped, of course… but that should be obvious.)
