Table Dumper Pro is a user-customizable multi-platform 8-bit disassembler, script dumper, script inserter, and relative searcher.
All functions should be easy to use for the beginner in their basic form. If you read the extensive included built-in help documentation, itermediate and advanced hackers can utilize all it’s features.
- The dissasembler has extensive features for customizing how code, in-code tables, variables, and registers should be displayed during disassembly. It can also be customized to work with other platforms, processors, mapper chips, etc. through editing of a configuration file.
- The script inserter will work with just about any script, with or without pointer table replacement.
- The script dumper is designed to work with the script inserter, but scripts dumped with other inserters can be modified to work with the inserter.
- The relative searcher has support for upper and lower case English, hiragana and katakana, with UTF-8 and SJS output options.
Give it a try!
Version 8.6.7 Fixes some major and minor bugs with the script dumper/inserter. The biggest issue dealt with the inserter destroying ROMs when it tried to insert a common type of pointer layout. Another issue dealt with the dumper computing the wrong offset for the text to be inserted, unless it was going into a block 8000 code block.
Because it’s processor is very similar to the 6502, I’ve been doing some work to get TDP to work with the TurboGrafx 16.
