This game has some VERY pretty graphics. Some of those cutscenes are incredible looking for the system, so you can see that the game had a lot of work done on it. And it was made by people who would go on to form Wolf Team (you know, the Tales of Phantasia guys), so you know it’s got to be good.

A dumper was coded and the script was dumped and fully translated by Liana. A VWF was hacked in and some menu hacking work was also done. While this project is off to a good start, there is still much left to be done.

Nightcrawler has since embarked on a universal VWF project for this game due to the high number of distinct text engines present. One routine will be made to control them all. Much progress has been made there as well as additional menu hacking work.

Tool upgrades were necessary. The tool upgrades became a major development effort and turned into development of the utility ‘TextAngel’ to better be able to handle misc. text being discovered relating to battle negotiations, magic, items, and menus. See TransCorp for further information.
