Getsu Fuuma Den is an action platformer game for the Nintendo Entertainment System.
Translation Description:
This is an updated version of the translation patch for Getsu Fuuma Den (or The Legend of Fuma, as we chose to call it due to Konami’s official name). We really like this game, which is why we wanted to give it a bit of a facelift. While the old translation by RPGe does its job quite well (and inspired us to go with our own take), it suffers from the limitations of early fan-translations. Our translation was expanded to fit in more script, makes use of both lines in text boxes, and it also translates major graphics (the “death” kanji when you fall into a pit, and the credits). Our goal was to give the game a “second wind” of sorts, and make more people familiar with it. So, please enjoy, and if you notice any issues, by all means be sure to contact us!
