fixed the URL that someone else added to my previous submission. not sure why the NINJA disclaimer is needed at all? it's not like the online ROM patcher doesn't support it
  • Games
This game was released in the US in 2019 as Trials of Mana. Because that is the earliest official English title I changed it to Primary Title.
  • Translations
this should be an Addendum, since it's based off the work of a different translation project

removed Whirlpool-era subjective opinions (plus the ridiculous and unnecessary "NINJA is superior to IPS" paragraph)

Mega Man 2

Nintendo Entertainment System

Game Description:

Mega Man 2 is a platforming game for the Nintendo Entertainment System.

Following the gameplay of the first Mega Man game, Mega Man 2 has new features, like Robot Master stages increased from 6 to 8, E-cans that replenishes health to 100%, and support items/platforms 1, 2, and 3.

After his defeat, Dr. Wily created his own Robot Masters and continued his desires for world domination. Mega Man is the only one who can stop the evil scientist once again. But before he could reach him, he needs to defeat Dr. Wily’s Robot Masters and obtain new powers from them.

Translation Description:

The only truly significant change here from the original American release is the change from “Crashman” to “Clashman”. Which is ridiculous; neither name makes any sense. The only place “Clashman” appears in the entire series is in Megaman 2 for Gameboy, which had a pretty bad translation anyways. Well aside from that, there’s no real reason to prefer this over the American release, just some slight rewordings. At least the American release has an easier difficulty mode.

NOTE: This translation is for the ROCKMAN Japanese ROM
