Nightmare Collection: Dead of the Brain
Ported from the MSX and combined into one neat and tidy package, Dead of the Brain 1 & 2 was the final official release EVER for the PC Engine in 1999. Taking a page from the works of Lovecraft, the story begins in the laboratory of a mad scientist who has created a serum to bring the dead back to life. Needless to say, as this scenario often does, things escalate into a zombie holocaust within the first 30 minutes.
Both games have a great deal in common with Snatcher, sporting a similar gameplay interface, a great deal of blood and gore, and bare breasted women.

Description
This project was started in 2005 with the prompting of Enguerrand.
Current status is:
- Both scripts (DotB 1 & 2) have been fully extracted
- Both scripts have been translated to French.
- Reinsertion of DotB 1 (french script) is in progress.
- Tomaitheous’ variable-width font solution is written and final tweaks are in progress
- English Translation of DoTB 1 is beginning (the translator is also the coder).
- English Translation of DoTB 2 not yet started.
