Whee, a 3-D dungeon crawler. In Japanese! Too cool! Um, that's it.

For years I've been wondering how to use this patch, and today I've figured out what the problem is. When ShadowSlayerX used his IPS-making utility, whatever it was, to make this patch, he accidentally switched the places for the changed ROM and the unchanged ROM. So in essence, yes, this patch will change your translated ROM back into its original Japanese. I found a partial translation of the game on some GoodNES kiddie's FTP, so I made a quick patch which you can get here. I don't know what version number it is, or even whether or not this is actually ShadowSlayerX's work, but here you go. Go play Deep Dungeon 3.

Oh! This patch will translate everything except most of the dialogue (which is at 25%), the spells, the ending, and a few battle events. Still pretty messed up though.
