Okaeri! Chibi-Robo! Happy Richie Oosouji is a action-adventure game for the Nintendo DS.
Translation Description:
This game is a successor to the original Chibi-Robo for the Gamecube. The game follows the concept of the original game closely, while still introducing many new gameplay elements. The game takes place a couple of years after the original game’s story, where little Jenny now has grown up and has a family of her own. However, they live a hard life dealing with poverty and a very dirty home. But that’s where Chibi-Robo comes to save the day. It’s up to him to make their lives better and solve the problems of the family and the toys found around the house. And of course to get rid of that filthy dirt everywhere!
The patch will make the game a 100% (all dialogue and graphics) in English.

Reviewed By: Techbane on 12 Mar 2022In terms of tone, accuracy, typesetting, patch stability, just generally all-round, this is a masterwork of a translation. There are even a few bad puns told by one character that seem to make the transition with surprising grace. The only remaining teething issues are with occasional grammatical or spelling errors, typos (like “finish up the the work” staring you in the face at the end of every single 12-hour cycle), and what seem like possible minor translation gaffes.
Blemishes aside, it’s a remarkably professional job, and has allowed me to experience the direct successor to Chibi-Robo that I only recently learned exists. It’s quite a ride. Thank you so much for this. I only regret that it’ll never reach the size of audience it truly deserves.
