Description:
New Super Mario World for SNES has new graphics inspired by New Super Mario Bros for the Nintendo DS, new music tracks inspired by many games on many different systems, a whole new overworld map and some new levels! Some of the game physics have been altered as well. The latest feature is the use of the SA-1 to improve performance. You’ll have a lot of fun with this one! Give it a try.

Reviewed By: WebSlinger on 17 Nov 2020CONS: The level 1-0 which looks like 1-2 from the NES Mario 1 level, that 1-up on top is 1 extra block over to the right. The end where the warps supposed to be, is a DEAD DEAD end, meaning there is absolutely NO way out unless the timer runs out. The game is extremely laggy, I guess it can’t handle the “sprite limit” well.
PROS: great music, terrific sprites and color, and the wall jump mechanic works pretty well.
I’ve only reached the very first boss so far but the fight way so laggy I quit the game. I tested the game in SNES9x and BSNES.
