Lei Dian Huang: Bi Ka Qiu Chuan Shuo is a Chinese bootleg of Pokemon Yellow ported to the Nintendo Entertainment System.
This is an English translation of Lei Dian Huang: Bi Ka Qiu Chuan Shuo, otherwise known as Pokemon Yellow for the Famicom. This pirate game is made by Shenzhen Nanjing, the company that brought you Final Fantasy VII Famicom.
This translation also completely replaces the original songs in the game with ones that are more accurate to the original, and less annoying. The original 14 songs were replaced, with more than 20 new songs. Almost all are based on Pokemon R/B/Y, some are based on G/S/C.
This translation also changes the EXP growth to make leveling up much less tedious.
Have fun! :)

The best way to play Gen 1!Reviewed By: Supergamerguy on 30 Oct 2020
I absolutely love this translation! Bringing one of the few good bootlegs into the English language was the best thing that I could have experienced on the NES. The dialogue is faithfully and accurately ported while still keeping it’s original charm, a masterful accomplishment on the part of the developers. And the new music is pretty great too! All of the songs sound like their Gameboy counterparts while being optimized for the NES sound capabilities. Definitely play this game if you like Pokemon in any capacity.
