Awesome translation!

Reviewed By: BlairBear86 on 20 Sep 2020

I almost played this game in Japanese but decided to hold off on it, glad I did because next thing you know, a surprise translation comes out of nowhere. It truly is great to see all these Goemon games suddenly being translated after all these years and I’m truly thankful for that.

My thoughts on the actual game: I was beginning to really enjoy the game but I was left disappointed in the last half. It had some questionable design choices and lacked the polish of it’s SNES counterparts. It’s a shame because I felt it was headed in a good direction and had a lot of potential. I guess the best Goemon games for me are still the SNES titles.

I definitely recommended giving it a go and it’s a must for any Goemon fan. Hope to see the last remaining Goemon titles translated! :)
