Let me first start off with my initial reaction to see Romhacking.net’s tweet. “:O… my favourite game of all time…. this is a gift, just wow!” And it certainly is! I couldn’t believe my eyes, had to patch my rom for this right away and try it out. Incredible! This is what my heart had always dreamt about. I still remember my Mom coming home from Grocery shopping with this game, handing it to me, this big white pink-hued puff ball and all these fantastic enemies in front of a tree, on the box art. I had no clue at the time, but this game would be formative for me. It would forever stir my love and kindle my appreciation for the loveable, bright, beautiful, fantastical, and approachable world’s that HAL Labratory would put out with Kirby’s name.

I always saw this game, be it in Greenish Yellow and Black Lines, or White on Grey, or that strange sort of grey-ish white of the Gameboy Color, as bright and vibrant as what I saw on the box art. To see so much love, and thought go into the color palette choices for this, it almost brings me to tears. But I can say without a doubt that it moves my heart, and the smile still hasn’t left.

Like I said in my tweet, this is a gift, above and beyond, and brings an incomprehensible level of joy. So thank you so much for your hardwork and passion. Job well done! 100% recommended.
