Description:

Fixes a handful of gameplay bugs in the game.

  • Enables AGL to influence hit/evade mechanics.
  • Critical hits are enabled at (2+LUCK)% for +25% attack power.
  • LUCK grants a chance to deny enemy counter attacks when hit by spells or techs.
  • Stat gain on level up can no longer go past the intended softcap.
  • Transshape has fixed duration instead of getting shorter if the target has high luck.
  • Heal Light no longer heals maxHP buff.
  • Prevent HP overflow when healing Black Rabite.
  • Blaze Wall and Flame Breath no longer remove existing status ailments.
  • fixed mixup of Kevin’s Deathhand and Dervish order in menu

This is fantastic bug patch. Although I couldn’t test everything that was documented, I certainly believe the creator did everything he intended. The agility is especially great, since it enables lots of things that were disabled (Agility stat doing something, Speed Up/Down spells, Duran’s shields, etc). I have a mixed feelings about critical hits though (I would have preferred a game without critical hits), but I’m sure many people do not share this opinion.

There is something though, and the attached document was a bit vague about it. This patch halves all damages of normal melee attacks and Lv1 techs, both from you and enemies. This has both pros and cons. One thing for certain – that makes each battles very long, especially in the beginning when you don’t have access to screen-freezing magic/techs. The first boss (Full Metal Haggar) is especially difficult, because he’d be doing full damage on you (all his attacks are screen-freezing, except one attack where he poisons you), while you’d be only doing half damage.
