A few missing voices and a wonky battle system. Still playable.

Reviewed By: phlim2 on 22 Jul 2019

While playing the Undubbed version, I noticed a few things that seemed off:

  • Voices when attacking / being hit are still English (ie: Justin’s voice is still deep)
  • When Mio throws the letter into the pit, she says “buh-bye”.
  • Some lines of dialogue are cut off before they finish. This is likely due to the localization timing.
  • Battle system is a mixture of both Japanese and English. The majority of the battle system is in English, but the command wheel is in Japanese, and also controls in Japanese (O instead of X).

It’s not 100% perfect, but it’s close.
