The definitive way to experience Super Mario Land
Reviewed By: Chewbatrij on 27 Apr 2019The new character sprites for Mario and Daisy are so good! It’s impressive how much charm one can fit into this tiny resolution.
It’s the first proper Mario Land hack, which doesn’t feel like a quick and dirty GBC port. The beautiful new background elements make the game feel like a proper prequel to SML2.
This game needed a makeover badly. And this hack delivered. There’s really not much else to say, and that’s a good thing.
It’s still Mario Land 1. But better.
