Kaizo Ninja Gaiden

Normally, I’d consider myself a bit of a masochist with regards to video games. If a game has adjustable difficulty settings, I usually like playing on the hardest setting even right out of the gate. I’ll even come up with my own self-imposed challenges to liven things up a little more.

But there’s a difference between good difficulty and bad difficulty, and this hack is every example of bad difficulty rolled into one, with unavoidable enemy spawns, required TAS glitches, and even a way to crash the game at the end of stage 6-1 by killing the boss at the end that was put there just for the sake of being there.

There’s a difference between providing a fresh challenge to people who have mastered the source game, and making a hack stupidly hard just for the sake of being stupidly hard, and Ninja Gaiden In Hell falls under the latter category. Not recommended for average gamers.
